As the title suggests can someone tell me what the Buddy icon is for...and while i'm here how do I add my a link to my ICQ?...........Cheers.

if that person is a friend of yours so to speak and you know them if you add them to your buddy list and it will tell you if they are online AFAIK any way

Yeah. In theory, it's quite a handy tool. Unfortunately, I lead a very sheltered and withdrawn life so I don't have any buddies.

Still, leaves more time for the ladies don't it

Exactly correct.

But, it doesn't work properly and will dissapear when the site is upgraded tomorrow. It was a hack I put it when I first started the site, but it only works if the person is hanging out in certain forums and not the site as a whole.

I think a buddy button is unneeded as are all buddies here!
