Why are all machines at seaside mostly £5 versions of bigger bandits? U cant win jack on them, so depressing knowing u not gna get anyting bak. Went to brid with kids monday and must have lost bout £100 in various machines it nearly always takes more than £5 to even get on board let alone win jackpot thye are so in the owners favour its unbelievable. They do have a cpl of higher payout machines scattered round but with children u can't enter the bit where they are , so i am limited as to what type i can play grrr. I just know i'm not gna win yet still play expectin a longer game for cheaper prizes sadly this wasn't the case as the machines dont play the same way as there higher jackpot versions. they seem to be on even less % payout why this is necessary for a £5 jackpot I'll never know!!

there set on £5 jackpot for a reason and that reason is not to have to be able to pay licence duty.

my m8 owns an arcade in brid and all his machines are set on £5 jackpot, the reason being it encourages local kids to play um

Hi

And the other reason is you cannot let kids into an arcade if its got all large jackpot machines in there, so this is why all of the machines are on £5, after all the Seaside is normaly a family day out not just an adult one so the arcade owners need to appeal to all ages as this is where thay get there money from.

I know most of the arcades at our local seaside place used to drop the percentages to the lowest possible in season, as this is when thay took the most, so wanted to maximise profit, but would increase the percentages out of season when thay relayed more on the local trade only, this ment you got a better game in the winter. Not sure if thay still do this.

Having said that I did have not to bad a night in Brid on Sat night I did not win alot but i did not lose much either and i stuck to the £5 machines at 10p or 5p play.

Thay are like all other machines if you catch them right you will win if you dont you will lose, I had a few quid on the 10p play megaslots did not do a thing.
