Having trouble with donkey kongs reels their is none just purple boxes. A post lower down had the same problem and went on design mode but for some reason design will not work. I've tried downloading again but no luck. Any ideas? Thank you

in donkey kong, click on DESIGN, then EDIT
the bar at the top will change red, then right click on each of the reels and select SET REEL TO BACKGROUND for all the reels
then click on DESIGN then EDIT again to go back into normal play mode
OR you could try and set your colour settings in windows to a higher mode like 16 or 32 bit, or change your screen mode to one higher than 800x400, that sometimes works
