Im gonna show myself up here, but who cares? Its 6pm n im half pissed so I can get away with a bit.

WHich one was Meltdown? I thought it was the one with the square trail and the power stations on the corners. In which case that was one was emu'd but with the wrong sound roms ( Italian Job, I think).
Out of the 3 Simpsons machines I thought the only one which was EPOCH was Beer Guide which imho was easily the best.
Apologies If I am way off the mark.

Well in that case obviously the machine can be emu'd, its just that the sound roms are unavailable at the moment.
Maybe Todd was thinking about Beer Guide?

Edit: Beer Guide cannot be done cos that was defo EPOCH. :-(

Neither Homer's Meltdown or Beer Guide can be emulated. They are both Epoch tech.

The "Homer's Meltdown" you have played uses the full Italian Job Romset and is just a hybrid i.e. it is Italian Job, but with Homer's Meltdown graphics.

Meltdown played quite differently to Italian Job and you can tell very easily that the emu version is not the real Meltdown.

A big clue is that you've got Michael Caine shouting at you rather than Homer simpson. ;)

Right im with it now!
When I saw that "Homers Meltdown" I just assumed the only reason the IJ sounds were on it were cos the HM sound roms werent about.

Consider my wrists slapped.
