I've got this old Cluedo cabinet, with a newish 14" display. Unfortunately, the touchscreen seems to be knackered, so basically I have a TV in a heavy box.

I was thinking, and I know this may seem crazy, about puttin one of my old computers, say 1GHz, into the cabinet, with a copy of windows, and all of my emulation stuff on there [SNES/SPECCY/FME]...and so I would basically have a full set of Fruities and SNES + SPECCY games in a bandit cabinet, for about £200 :)

Has anyone else ever considered or attempted such a project?

Any tips/ideas or comments?

Don't see why not - that's all the 'Megatouch' quiz machines are. The button interface might be a bit of a problem though.

Aye done a mame cab before and used a keyboard hack which was not easy but worth it. Best thing to get now is an IPAQ, since you can programme it very easily.

Yes go for it you will enjoy the results.

Would be good if JPeMu or either of the other emulators could output information via the comport and using an adapter could be patched into a proper machine and light the correct lights and controll the reels... :D

Surely that could be done Barcrest? But i reckon that would be one hell of a task to code all the lights or whatever...

I apologise for my awful username and previous posts from 13 years ago. I was a misguided chav.
