Hi, the machine is a Bellfruit "club money to burn" with a scorpion 4 board.
When the power is switched on, the 4 green LED's are lit, but the red LED to the right of the Dip switches flashes.
If i leave the machine off for a few days, Initialising will come up on the display, but then goes blank and back to just the red LED blinking.
I used to get this problem from time to time, but switching it off for a while would make it come back to life.
Can I assume that the PSU is fine due to the green LED's all being lit?
I have read on some other posts that clearing the RAM has worked sort out several problems. How would i do this? Is it worth trying?
Any ideas guys?

still could be the power supply mate.
sometimes the power supply would reset as soon as the lights are meant to come on after it has done the full initialise sequence.

So even though the 4 power LED's are lit and stay illuminated, it could still be the PSU?
Can you suggest anywhere I could get a replacement?
It is a Shanken GSK017HA

its either going to be that or the scorp 4 mpu.
best place is ebay.
if those dont cure it then you may be looking at a faulty gamecard/proms.

Ok Baz thanks,
Iv already replaced the MPU so guess the PSU is the next thing on the list.
Any ideas where I could find one? Checked ebay but no joy

Update,
Ok, I've managed to source a replacement PSU, and on a Sunday too
However, it has not solved the problem.
The red LED still flashes, with Initialising coming up on the display and then going again. Sometimes it flashes up several times, other times just the once. Almost like its restarting or stuck in a loop or something
The main board has been changed already

OK, after some prodding about to make sure everything was in securly and still no joy, i decided to put the old MPU back in. Surprisingly the machine now powers up fine, although I do have the old problem back which are associated with that board, such as some lamps staying lit all the time, and others not lighting at all, and plus 2 real blasts etc not always adding anything. These problems were all solved by the MPU I’ve just removed though, so iv ordered another.
However, it looks as though with all this trial and error stuff or maybe due to the MPU going tech, that the £250 proms are no longer working
Is there anything I can do about this? Or is it possible to replace them?
At the moment its working on the £1000 proms which is ok, but I find the game play is not as good

The new scorp 4 board arrived today, and all problems are solved
It still wont run on the £250 hi / lo proms though, any ideas on where I can get these or is there some way to repair / reset them?
