Just had an email from some crap company I was doing some market research for, they sent a so called link to a free tesco Sim offer. If this offer is real it looks very good.
Top-up £10 and get £10 free credit £20 in total top-up
Top-up £15 and get £30 free credit £45 in total top-up
Top-up £20 and get £40 free credit £60 in total top-up
All free credit last one calendar month
All calls are 20p and texts are 10p, you can pick 5 special numbers to get half price calls @ 10p and text @ 5p.
Anyways if anyone would like to take a look hear is the link, Tesco Free SIM
Looks legit(I hope)

The offer seems great to start with...but after you have used up your free credit it will be extortionate on Pay as you go.
Better registering with T-Mobile...as their texts are only 3p a shot on Text Appeal...but then again it's all about the individual and what their preferences are.
<span style='font-family: Comic Sans MS'><span style='font-size: 12px;'>It's all done in the best possible taste.

20p calls and 10p texts or half price to your top 5 numbers dont seem extortionate to me, sure thats the price of all calls and texts, even when your free credit runs out.

I like my vodafone network and they are doing a nice deal in the form of a Super Sim.£20 per month and you get 600mins free calls and unlimited texts.
If you have friends on vodafone you can choose three of them and chat and text for free(up to 60mins at a time)
My contract is up anytime and am quite happy with my Sony Ericsson k850i so this probably be the best option for me as I am quite a heavy user of my mobile.

I got my free Sim cards today and topped up by £15 and got my £30 of free credit so £45 of credit in total for £15. Picked my 5 fave numbers to get 10p a min calls and 5p a text too. If I have any credit left at the end of the month I will use to to buy games as you can't carry it over to the next month. Still not a bad deal tho. The gf is on orange and pays £40 a month to get 400 minutes. If you get £20 credit on tesco you get £40 free so £60 in all which would give you 600 minutes or 1200 texts to you 5 fave numbers which is £20 less than orange. She said she might get on too as her contract is up soon.

I think u you only have like 5 days to activate it from the date you get it. it has a date on the front of the pack you get. Make sure you use the free 20p pre loaded on the sim and make a call first or you wont get your free credit.

Not quite on-topic of the thread's name, but Vodafone have a few deals on too atm.
Various top-up options and free calls to friends via PAYG that may be worth a look.

with this deal, does it give you free credit everytime you top up or just the first time?

im assuming it is only for the first top up. they would lose a fortune if it was for every top up.

It says in the T&C that it's every time you top up. See picture.
