It was me that "advised" him to use hagar and load the roms into that.
Was the only way I could get the roms to run, probably due to the checkboxes.
Those are the reel symbols buccaneers uses Tommy, you just need to get them in the right order and alter some by add a parrot or "P"

I had the same thing as this trying to convert Jackpot Hi Roller to run on MFME from JPeMu. Reels would spin about three times perfectly ok and then go completly to cock. Tried allkinds of offsets and motor steps but couldn't get it going.
Hope Pook dont mind me posting this. But i think this is the problem tommydee has. Maybe an emu issue?
You need to check the 'Opto Invert' box on all the reels (including the hi-lo reel), then save, and reload the layout for it to work properly.
EDIT: Forgot to add the corrected layout.

How do you think the original author of Hagar found them?
Honestly Tommy you want everything and you want it NOW!! All the information you need is abundant on the forums, you just need to look for it. TBH its no wonder people get impatient with you asking the same question time after time. Have you read any guides on classic design such as PANDYS DUMMIES GUIDE FOR IDIOTS ON CLASSIC LAYOUTS?
If so and you still can't get your head around it then maybe its time to throw in the towel.
