They have a 10p £6JP Make a Mint in there. It's a class machine. They also have a weird 'Coronation Street' style machine with a top box. Similar to Party Time. The top reels stick a bit though.

Upstairs in The Forum, they do a great carvery. Think it's about £5.50 for 2 people or £3 each. I usually pop in there at least once a month for my lunch hour, although I skip the pint though. Ace view of Bridlington's 'Millenium Wheel'. Well, compared to London's, it's more like a Millenium Frisbee.

Is that even up and running yet? It's been a while since I've been to Brid, but IIRC the last time I was up there, I heard something about the motor(?) being removed by the engineering firm behind it because of non-payment(?), and it just sat there looking rather lost.

Did take some photos, but alas, when my camera was half-inched earlier in the year, I lost the pics.

As for the OP being after token machines, I'm afraid my 'bought a bag of tokens on eBay for peanuts and is trying to turn them into cash' sense is tingling. Last token machines I played were in a Nobles, Bar X £4 token JP. My first experience with token playing and surprisingly good fun. Turned £3 into £4 in coins, £12 in tokens. Turned those £12 in tokens into £8 in coins, over a fairly lengthy period. Good, relatively cheap fun. The tokens added something for me - there is something enticing about winning a lot, and then having the added challenge of trying to convert the tokens back into genuine currency.

Used to play the big token streakers years ago. Felt a good sense of well being when dropping a big wad. Thats where the fun began, trying to recoup some cash from your tokens. Hell of a lot more fun than the shite about these days.
Seen these bags of tokens on ebay and the likes and tbh you will be very lucky to find anywhere that will take them. Good luck anyway.

Can't do that now though. With token machines all but gone, if you land a big streak, it's hard trying to find something else to play your tokens back into.

for some strange reason you never got much off tokens, i used to think as a kid someone was controlling it from the cash desk to only give wins with real cash

I felt that also, in Nobles where I used to play regular they used to have these Exibar £2 cash/£6 token machines. Never seemed to win any cash off these, just more tokens. Nightmare machines these. It was if the machine knew you were putting tokens through and played a shitty game .
