A delightful little game from the late eighties. The Golden era of Barcrest in my opinion. Silver Shadow uses the very nice chrome frame which I have always admired, and will always remember these games as brand new.

I said Dutch because of the 'Shilver'. :)

I had images of Dutchmen playing it, wearing 'clogsh' and then going out to look at 'windmillsh'.

Very nice layout mate :)

I got a medal near my name for some reason. Maybe because I'm an old git or something. Thinking about layouts, I think I've only done about 25. So I'm a long way off lol.

Nice layout of a good game this. And much appreciated with the work put in. I like SilverSHADOW. Lots of nice little wins here and there and sometimes, a nice few pounds to be had. Feature entry was achieved quite often. Not like todays pap. A cashpot that was also achieveable although only £2. I love the nudges feature on here. The sort of randomness of it. Although we all know it's not random at all. What mesmerised me with this game and a few others out at the time, was the green lamped areas. Back then, it was quite a novelty.

A little bit of history as far as the scene is concerned. And if I remember correctly. A chap called Mike did a complete redraw of this game some years ago for it's first carnation as a DX. Resources being thiner on the ground back then. Even back then, it was a fantastic DX and identical in every way. So much so that if you wasn't told it was drawn from scratch, you'd have thought it was from top notch photo's or a quality flyer. I think some months later, a flyer did appear and uncle Harvey did a 1024 version. 2 guys who indeed left their mark on the scene, but are no longer around.

Nice bit of info there. Thanks. The Cash pots in these days were always half the jackpot. In this case all single wins over £2 were paid in tokens so that they need not call it "Cash Pot unless its more than £2"
