Well AT LAST i have them!

For those of you that do not know, and a reminder for those who do, i was promised a 'bucket' of old roms and floppy discs FULL of programs...

I now have them.

SOME are blank (ie no sticker) but all have software on them.

I have recently become friends with TTX and we will be going through the software over the next week (hopefully)

There are some interesting bits and pieces in here, just going through some over the phone with Tris we were both pretty excited as what was in there.

its going to be a fairly long process as we will have to sift through the program dialogue to try and establish what some of them are and then try and marry them with the sound chips...not going to be a quick job.

Obviously as soon as we have the software as list format you are all welcome to it,

I will always offer ANY of my roms for copying and photos for emulation.

I am eagerly awaiting my latest editions to my collection (super line up MPU3) being one of them and another two EXCLUSIVE classics.

Its FANTASTIC the feedback i have been getting from the holidaymakers coming into the arcade. They love the 'mix' i have, even the £500 players cant resist a go on the classics now!

My website will be live at the end of the week and will be a showcase for the machines i have at the arcade.

If the industry gets its way then its £1 a go £100 jackpot. Cant they see NO-ONE wants it. Reduce the stakes and prizes and put the GAME back into the machines and the industry will U-TURN.

I am actually BUSIER than last year and everyone who has gone for all this digital do your balls stuff are pulling their hair out...

LONG LIVE CLASSIC GAMING!

Hi

Glad to hear the roms have arrived, please feel free to upload them to the repro once you have some of them ready we now have FTP access which makes uploading a lot of files much easyer if you are not sure how to do this then i am sure TTX will beable to help you as will I.

We were hopeing to get over to the IOW for the bank holiday weekend but unfortuatly having left it a bit late, cannot get accomodation at a price we can afford so it now have to be next year.

But we will pop in and vist the arcade well once I know where on the Island you are I am sure your website will have all this essential information on it and I am sure you post a link here once its live.

Good luck to you and TTX with the roms and for HT Six's sake I hope you find a set of Hit the Six roms in there.

It is refreshing to see an arcade operator, such as yourself, so keen on helping the FME community with all these new resources. So massive thanks for everything you're doing for us. :)

Hopefully, there will be some real "treasures" in there. :D

I couldn't agree more with you!

£1 play, £100 Jackpot Category C machines will help the industry for about a week, and then it will be downhill from there at an ever-increasing pace. As long as there's £500 B3's allowed in arcades, Category C will never work ever again. They may as well scrap Cat C and move Cat D up to 20p £10 just like the first all-cash machines and stick with that. I reckon all the industry will get is a jackpot raise up to £40 for now. It's all a complete farce anyway; they should be putting the jackpots and stakes down and attracting people back. Too may suits who have never played a machine in their lives making all the decisions I'm afraid...

Best of luck though for the summer season, and thanks for your contributions so far - these are really exciting times for FME :)
Watch out! There's a SIG thief about...

Excellent news, today has been a good day.

Bucket-o-roms has arrived, my emu is now running so fast I need to slow it down, and its sunny.

Someone mentioned Nickelodeon, I have the full machine if anyone needs resources. I currently have the reels out of the machine because I was using the board to work out the schematic for my emu, if you want reel scans ask now :).

Dave and an arcade operator......have I missed something here or are you Dangerous Dave from FF?

Be interesting to see if it fills in any gaps with the 2870 machine romsets we've already got, especially early revisions, p1 etc!

:)
