Many years ago (20+) my local had a fruity that was a horse race, if you got on the feature board you chose the colour of the horse you wanted, and then had to stop the reels as they span to advance your horse and not the others. I just carn't remember its name, but it was the only fruity I've ever played that I could always beat! Got me banned from my local! LOL
Anybody know what I'm on about??
Cheers

The only machine I can think of that is similar is Hot Dogs...where you selected a dog and tried to outrun the others using hi-lo reels. That was a JPM machine.
<span style='font-family: Comic Sans MS'><span style='font-size: 12px;'>It's all done in the best possible taste.
</span></span>

I think I remember that one...to advance the horse one, there were coloured horses on the main reels, and they rolled fairly slowly and you hit the stop button to get the colour you wanted...for a skill stop fan like me it was great! till I got banned LOL!

Firstly, take a large sheet of black laminate chipboard. Then take about a mile of cables....
Oh right, you are banned already.
Thank God for that, I wasn't looking forward to writing a full explanation...

Bang!
Just fired this one up, novel machine, or so it seems now, but where is the Deal or no Deal feature? That would have finished it off nicely.
Anyway for those who haven't downloaded it, if you get three horses on the line, it steps around the 24 positions of the reels and four of those positions will have a row of horses. Each horse has an advance value assigned to it, hurry to beat the clock and get the big money horse home first for the cash.
After blagging a £1+£1 then unlimited nudges for £3, I got the horse feature for 10p/20p and 30p on Old Gold. Old Gold romped home for a big money 30p and presumably a very dead Odds On Dx.
Lol - very harsh you got barred for just being able to get the right horse home, it's hardly an emptier now is it?

The gamble feature on the real machine was dead easy to beat. I used to gamble every win up to £2.00 and the exhange onto the horses to go for the £3.00 Jackpot. When the machine was empty of tokens, I used to put them back in and just gamble wins up to £1.50 and take the cash. The Landlord didn't like that fact that I'd end up with £40 to £50 a session...and we are talking mid 80's here!
