Normally when i log in i have the forums set as my default page but on having to reformat my system i logged in on the home page and noticed the "Most experienced user box" and i just wondered what it was all about as clicking on it does jack all...

That box is all to do with vbExperience, which is a piece of software that calculates a rank for you based on the amount of time you spend on the site. You basically get points for the amount of view and replies to threads, post and downloads. There are then medals for the top active, posting and community members. You're at the top for all the posting you used to do I think.
