Whilst on my quest to find out why non of the McDonalds round here do milkshakes, I came across this very interesting page with all the McDonald recipes. Needless to say that in the very near future my fridge will be bulging full of milkshakes.

BK FTW!
After a couple pints, it's best to go to my local Charcoal Grill and pick up a much needed DONER KEBAB!

Wouldn't bother with a Chicken Royale again, admittedly I've not had a 'beef' burger from a BK before (when I used to visit them I was a veggie, so I'd normally have the excellent spicy bean burger).
I had a Chicken Royale at Liverpool Lime Street, £4.99 for the meal. I assumed a Chicken Royale would be a proper chicken fillet (that is, a piece of whole chicken). No, it was a reformed piece of shite. Basically an elongated chicken nugget, with a dodgy texture.
Will have to give their beef burgers a try but wouldn't waste any money on that chicken rubbish. Either KFC, McDonalds (when they have some of their chicken fillet stuff on), or local non-chain outlets for chicken.
Wetherspoons chicken burgers aren't too bad these days either, worth a shot if you've not had one for a year or so.

I found that using the cheapest vanilla ice cream you can find (was using CoOp) and sticking a ton of plain chocolate sauce in then mixing frantically with a spoon until fully mixed/smooth, is as good if not slightly better than McDonalds shakes. Of course if you are not at home, their shakes are much needed refreshment (although they sure do nothing to quench your thirst).
