If you want to keep an eye on the money in / money out from when you get it, I'm sure you can just clear the software meters held in the machines RAM.

IIRC you need to get the machine into 'freeplay' mode (that is, let the machine initialise with a door open, press cancel to clear 'Read Meters?' if that appears, and then use a credit. Insert and turn the refloat key (should say 87000 or 8700 on the key, and fits into a switch located in the top right hand side of the payout tray) and it should display long-term and short-term software meters.

Just clear whichever one you want that by holding cancel in for about 3 seconds. Long-term is typically 'when the machine was bought / changed suppliers', and short-term is typically 'when the machine was moved from site to site'.

Maybe that doesn't work on this era of machines, but it definately works on Genesis > early Tall Genesis. Never done it on the machines at work as don't want to wipe the meters on them, which are invaluable for showing up blaggers (), and are held on a software system to keep an eye on machine performance.

We've got this at work on the £5 / 10p setting, and if I could play it, I would, were I allowed to! I think in a home scenario a £5 should be set a little higher than a £25 - I'd say perhaps 84% on the £5 jackpot and 78% on the £25 - simply because £5 do have more obvious flatspots, due to the higher jackpot frequency.

Mind you, if your mates are playing it, 70% all the way!

Yeah the Percentage Key is a 70% one.

Still want to change the hopper level to £125.00

Cant see the connection that used to run to the note meter as was suggested I unplug it.

Also on the MPU Board I can not see any dipswitches at all - where should I be looking?

not sure how you can reset the electronic meter as we have always been told by the trade that it cant be done but i assume some tech guy can hack it.

im sure theres a way to do it via the motherboard or you have to connect the motherboard to a pc or somthing because mine was done on my crazy club

Switch bank 1 is in the corner of the mpu board itself,
Switch bank 2 is on the program cartridge.
