Hi all this is my first machine that I have bought. It is a 1987 JPM Moneytrap.
It has a coinslot that accepts 10p 20p 50p and £1 coins however the 10p and 50p are obviously the old bigger coins from back in the 80s. It will take 20ps and £1 though there is no hopper tube for 20p for some reason. This doesnt seem to be a fault as such as the 20p go the same way as the 50ps would do but go straight into one of 3 cash boxes in the bottom of the cabinet.
The machine also takes 20p tokens. My question is is there anyway I can get it to accept new 50p and New 10p obviously a new coin slot is needed but will I need new hopper tubes as the coin size is different.
All i can do at the moment is get paid £1 coins when I win a £1 or above I want a fully functioning machine.
Sorry if this is a dumb question like I said im new to this
Thanks
Gary
