Something that is not said enough....Thank you to all concerned at Fruit-Emu, and all the people who make the layouts and roms etc.. !!

I've been a member of the fruit machine emulation community for over 18 months and I never contributed at all for the first 6 months.

I could have sat back and just downloaded those fabulous layouts that were about long before 'Fruit-EMU' was born. Nobody on the scene thought anything less for doing so. I thought of a way to contribute and ventured out to take photo's of fruit machines in the wild. I managed to get stacks of pics but only a few made the grade to be made into layouts. 'MoneyTALKS' and 'Chase the ACE' to name a couple. The pics have to be of a high quality to be made into a DX but theres still plenty of machines that have no resources so photo's are still very welcome. Eventually, I moved on to make the odd layout. Again, nothing spectacular but would I have been less of a member of this community if I had contributed nothing? I think not.

Always remember that without members, even those that can't contribute, the scene would be a very stagnent place. Simple messages like this create encouragement to all concerned. So there you go. Indirectly, you have contributed to the scene. I myself feel more encouraged to push onwards and I'm sure others are too with such kind words. Our contributions continue with even more motivation with encouraging words.

Same here compost. I registered @ FF at around the same time March 2002 and sat back and downloaded everything that came out and didn't post nothing.

In August that year I struck gold with flyers and posted about then and have stayed active since then.

Compost, you should get your photos uploaded to petes repo.

10,000 members is great. It shows how strong FME has become and how strong it will get.

If you are one of the 10,000 members and haven't posted you should. Only a small fraction of the members do.

Fruit-emu, keep up the good work :) This site is by far the best yet (No offence to the smaller download sites)

Here's to the next 10,000!!

Thanks for all your kind words, it's nice to be acknowledged from time to time. That's what makes it all worth while!!

So all of you that are silent, now is the time to post, and become one of those active members that are in the minority at the moment.

I agree, it would be great to get these forums even more active than what they are.As well as apreciating all the hard work and effort put in to this scene i also enjoy spending time on the forums.I love reading through new posts to see what everyone is saying to this and that and it would be even better if even just half of the 10000 members posted from time to time.

That said, i love it the way it is too !

Keep em cumin !

I've wanted to up them but at present, my collection of pics are over 400mb. It would be easier for me to sort them into sub-folders and file them properly, then send Pete a CD with them all on.

Thats how I got my flyers there. It would have took years to upload that amount of flyers over 56k.

In the not so distant future i'll have a couple more gig to send his way :)
