Don't know where else to put this, but is there any info on the (ageing) Aristocrat MKV machines?

I can't find one single site which leads to technical info of this hardware, or anywhere which has any decent games, simulated or emulated - the "Aussie Slots" games are just plain crap with bad gfx and sound, (slot_cupid is supposed to simulate the Sweethearts II machine....) and "Pokie Magic" is just too Windowsey, slow and has MIDI renders of console games (Sonic the Hedgehog/Megadrive, Super Mario World/SNES, Super Mario Bros. 2/NES etc) and they're both [shudder] payware/crippleware - the slot_xxxx games are coded in visual basic ffs

I've been trying to track down how the sound works (but due to how quiet everything is on these things the closest I've got is putting a tape recorder into the coin tray and slowly converting them to tracked format (S3M seems the smallest))

would there be any possibly of emulating any video slot machine at all (obviously not MFME as they're not fruit machines). Even a good sim would be great to see

I'm more interested in the old early 90's Maygay video slot machines, which had reels as well as a display - there was one with cards (all diamonds) and among the sounds were samples of Madness songs;

Another was based on the 1994 world cup...

Any ideas?

I wouldn't have much knowledge as i've only been able to go to casino's (due to the 18+ law) for the past year or so. The main machines (no mech unfortunately) I know are the Aristocrat MKIV, MKV, MKVI, Stargames PC3, and some IGT and Konami games, nothing older than 1994 (at Crown Melbourne...)

this sound was from A/c's Indian Dreaming 1 cent machine (needs an s3m player, winamp plays these)

There was a cop's and robbers type game I used to play in the arcades with a video display.

Reels were video too....the top board game was trying to avoid the copper till you got to your plane...then you circled around collecting fivers and tenners.

The video display would hold the info for who got the best runs from the winner routine.

I once got a high score of £130 which buzzed me out a lot.

I would love to see these emulated...maybe they would need some directx/opengl work to make them render the gfx.
::First jackpot::-::2p-a-go Winspin::-::£1.50 jackpot from 4p gamble::-::was still in a pram:: Anyone fancy doing WinSpin? Cant find it and would love to see it done.

Only £500 jackpot on Little Devils which I got waiting for a Rainbow Riches (£70) feature to end. Then I got £210 on the feature on Rainbow Riches. My mrs was happy that day!
