Hi All,

My Golden Casino has two faults that are annoying and help would be very much appreciated :

2 x tubes are full of 20p - all 20p now dropping into coin box at bottom
2 x £1 tubes - not sure how full they are.

When machine has a pay out - it makes the sound as if the coins are paying out but with no coins actually coming out - I have cleaned the mechanism with improvement - as it now accepts coins.

Secondly, the machine crahes and goes into "Strobe Error - 31" anyone have any ideas what this relates to ? bulbs or serious issue

Only paid small amount for machine - so would like to try to fix it myself or cheaply

Many thanks in advance

Tested it with a 3.60 payment - only paid 40p !

The machines goes into stobe error 31 randomly it seems

as soon as i clicked on the first pic being the programme card i knew straight away that its a bell fruit so i was right lol

k here goes where the payout assembly unit is where it all pulls out as one shelf, check and make sure the connector block at the rear is correctly in place, any movement may stop the payslide from working, make sure the connector has not been pushed back.

let me know dude

to test the payslide u put the machine into test mode by pressing the green button on the scorp board then press the start button on the front of the machine ENTER TEST 2 then press hold 1,2,3,4

this will test each payslide within the machine. the one that fails to payout or click will be the one at fault. if you have a multimeter it would be easy.

you can also check the failing solenoid by swapping the 2 wires from a working solenoid to the non working one and go through the test mode 2 again.

if the solenoid still doesn't work then its either a f***ed solenoid or there is a fault on the main scorp board.

hope this helps fella

Well tubes checked and cleaned and connectors double checked.
Now the annoying strobe error keeps coming up.

Can't seem to put the machine into test mode ! switch on press and hold green button but no indication or result from pressing any of then buttons. Do you need to hold it down for a long time or as you switch on and then close door ?. If it does not go into test mode can't test the solenoid on the tubes.

Any idea what the strobe error 31 is ?

cheers all

you press the green button for a matter of about 3 seconds there's no need to keep it pressed in pmsl.

if the strobe error continues u could also try clearing the ram, by this make sure the machine is switched OFF then with a pair of pliers or a piece of wire short the battery by putting 1 end of the wire to the + side of the battery and the other end of the wire at the - side both at the same time, now keep the wire on both sides for a few seconds. once you've done that remove the wire and fire the machine up. note it will make a ram reset alarm which is normal, don't panic mr manering lol.

this may clear the 3.1 strobe error or it may not. your not losing anything by trying this method.

let me know once you've done this.

ok cleared the memory with the wire on the battery.
came on with memory error then set the reserve and cashpot and goes into play sequance - then back to strobe bloody error.

Still can't get into test mode - is there any indication your in test mode..

so reset and strobe error reoccurs !

only the running % you will lose so it might payout a bit more than it should

thats not gonna be a problem if the machine is for home use as club machines tend to stablise rather quickly on target %'s

if u tryed the memory reset and now joy then i would say u either have a break in the wiring on the lamps or your scrp board is naffed.

can you replace the board - if so any sources ?
i assume tracing the wiring for the lamps is way too complicated

cheers
