After a bit of help please.

How do I get my machine to stop accepting 5p's. Coin test will only test coins in and dump £1's, can't get the test routine to show the inhibit option. It's a Barcrest Horizon Cab if that helps "Space Raiders". Is it in one of the menu's which don't show? They are 12+13.

u have to disconnect the 5p inhibit wire on the coin mech.

i don't remeber which wire it is but i'm sure a tech guy can help

what coin mech is it and i'll try to look it up

Is that the only way? My other machines have the option to do it in the test routine, so i dont have to start chopping wires.

you can do it from the mech by NOT CHOPPING WIRES but disconnect 1 wire.

you can only inhibit what coin u want it to not accept only by doing this method.

There's only 3 wires going to the mech(it's a serial mech SR5). There must be a hidden menu somewhere. but i'm dammed if it'll let me find it. Tried all kind of button presses, doors opened, dil switches and refil options.

baz n impact is more upto date with horizon cabs than i am but i gotta say its a new one on me to inhibit coins by going into test. i know there is a coin mech test.

i will get you the info 2morrow as you will have you setup your sr5 via the teach sw and rotary sw no inhibit coins and please read the info very slowly as one muck up and you will lose all the programme windows

i honestly don't know why he wants to inhibit the 5p, if he doesn't want the machine to accept 5p's then its just as simple not to put any 5p's in

I dont want it to accept 5p's, cause the kids raid the slummy jar, then play the machine when i'm not about and rip off my £1's.
