So why is it that EPOCH can`t be emulated?

epoch is the technology used to run current maygay machines, and because it is current technology it cannot be emulated. the same goes for mpu5.

Current Tech is a term used loosely to mean, still being manafactured and supported by the Fruit machine Vendors.

All Roms, images,sounds etc are copyrighted by there respected companies who tend to turn a blind eye on older machines with regard to copyright infringment, they probably assume that you will like playing the older machines on your PC and will put a few pounds( or Hundreds in some cases) into their newer "current" machines....free advertising in away..plus a dedicated fan base who may not be old enough to visit the arcades and pubs....

but why? why has no one made a new emulator, the new tach must be able to emulate some how, thnx for the replys i'm new here, and that were some fast replies

the reason a new emulator has not been made is simple, as razors back said a company may turn a blind eye if their older machines are emulated but they would probably go ape shit if their newer machines were. this happened with empire which is why they stop websites from hosting their roms.
