After reading the post about removing the white lines I thought id give it a try.

Id love to be able to create a DX, but mainly due to time and stupidity I dont think i ever will.

Anyway heres my attempt at removing the white lines it took just over an hour, feel free to pick holes in it.:bigeyes02:

good stuff ninelives,

Was that taken from the screenshot or do you have the flyer?

I hope its the latter as I think bladefan2's jpeg was just an example mate.

Seeing as you do the job as good as that have you considered teaming-up with some of the DX'ers where you do the 'dirty-work'?......be really handy to some and be appriciated I know mate.

thanks for the comments(Sorry, feel like Ive hijacked the thread).

I used the jpeg that bladefan provided, I did take a quick look though the mazooma flyers but I couldnt see it, If I had the actual flyer I supose I could waste another couple of hours on it.

Yeah nice job you've done there actually.

Unfortunately i would think that the actual image Blade has is quite a bit larger and of better quality.

Perhaps he could pass on his original art for you to clean up, as working from the jpeg you cleaned might be a bit tricky and not come out as good quality in the Dx.

wow

thanks ninelives (and thanks to everyone else who has put their comments on this thread). It really is fantastic to see everyone willing to help produce DX's. As adydb says - thats what FME is all about.

ninelives - I've sent you an email with the BMP attached. I'm sorry you've got to do it again (as you had changed the low-quality JPG which as adydb says wouldn't be very good quality for the DX) ;)

Once I've done this DX, I can help you create one too if you wish. It's not too difficult (once you've got a classic that's already been done to work with). I did the GOLD STRIKE with no classics available, so I had to work blindly from just experimenting with the lamps, etc. Still don't think I've got the lamping 100%, but it will do (I've had no complaints as yet !!!!)

cheers matey

I've got a slight problem with the artwork when superimposing it with the reels/band layout.

The problem is that when you use 5 winlines on the reel (as in the case of the fruity), it looks like you can only add the one standard winline (when in edit mode).
Also, the reel band - the numbers that shouldn't be shown (i.e. unlamped) should appear 'behind' the clouds.

Does anybody know if these lines, cloud artwork can be added (so the reel layouts appear under the artwork)?

See pic attached to see what I mean (ignoring the white flyer line of course).

The top 2 graphics shows how they appear on my fruit machine.
The bottom 2 graphics shows how they appear on the flyer.

The 3 reels - you can only see 1 winline (need to be able to add the other four somehow).

The reel band - you can see that the numbers that shouldn't be shown (the 12 and the 5bonus on the top graphic should be hidden behind the cloud).

here's hoping !!

All you need to do is draw the lines before you set the reels.

And use a bit of green lol

you can, just make sure the part of the reels that you want visable are coloured in a bright colour on the base art. As in Ady's example

Just remember with a transparency...BOTTOM LEFT pixel has to be painted for it to work on any image.
