Hi All,

Out of the new Barcrest machines in Horizon cabinets, which do you guys think would be best for a home games room (without breaking the bank!).

Im thinking of either Yabba Dabba Darts or Dr's & Nurses.

Many thanks,

Mark

Get that Invaders one or whatever its called. On the lines of a space invaders theme.

That one has great gameplay! The best one of the bunch from what ive played

Can't stand barcrests, they seem to take ages for a board?

hmm quit a few of the horizon cab games are filtering through on ebay now, personally I wouldnt purchase an extreme game ( just my choice) could get boring for home use when no real gambling element to it, just they become a bit predictable ( really progressive). I would opt for Space Raiders bit more too it in my opinion, although I wouldn turn down a darts clone machine either, waiting for Lucky strike to get a bit cheaper personally

Gord, doctors and nurses would get very dull. Great machine but..... go with space raiders, much, much better.

... Which have only just started being released in Horizon cabinets, so would probably cost loads to buy.

I'd quite like an earlier one - like a Lucky Strike. Quite liked the theme / 'feel' of the machine.

I hate these cabinets.

Just too plastic fantastic for my liking lol.

The buttons never seem responsive neither, always need to bash them.

How much is breaking the bank? How about Phil The Power Taylor, Most Daunting, Hot Shots, Throw a Wobbler, Bling and Queen, Bucket Loads, Cashback or Flash Cash. They are all under £500 each.

There is a Pay Cheque on Ebay btw.

Thanks guys, that's given me a lot to think about!

Ive not played the Yabba Dabba Darts before, but I thought it "looked" nice, but I guess gameplay is more important than looks! Similarly, I thought Space Raiders looked a little "dull" as the majority of the top board is black, but if it plays well that is more important!

To be honest I've always steered well away from Red Gaming machines as Ive never liked the ones I've played in pubs etc. I dont spend much on machines (apart from playing my own) but Red Gaming ones all seep to play differently to others.

I'll have a look for the machines mentioned, and if anyone else as any non-horizon suggestions plese let me know :o)

Cheers,
Mark

There's been a few Bully For You's coming up on e bay recently and not been going for that much. I was tempted to get one myself. Red Gaming Machines are ok but not all that spectacular. I had a That's Magic but traded it in eventually cos i got a bit bored of it. They're ok to play but not so good to own. It's just that they tend to be a bit samey. A lot of them are the same features etc just a slightly different board.
