Just wondering. All modern fruits (mpu4-5 etc) the sound is 100% accurate. older fruits like action bank, big banker etc, glitch and dont sound like the originals. Is this a limitation of emulation technology, or am i doing something wrong?

Nope your not doing anything wrong as i had the exact same problem with my machine..the problem lies with your onboard soundcard most likey a Realtek AC97 card.
Find out the make of your motherboard and i may be able to supply you with the driver to correct this problem..as i turned my Realtek AC97 into a SiS 7012 Wave device and now all my fruitys run perfect

I did just that, noticing a listing for the 7012 in the drivers list, and yep it is now 100% accurate! Thanks to everyone for their help.
