Im thinking of bidding on this machine called "Club Cop the Lot"
It has an LCD screen in the middle, its here:
eBay.co.uk: FRUIT MACHINE CLUB COP THE LOT £250 JACKPOT BELLFRUIT (item 260132816738 end time 03-Jul-07 20:00:00 BST)
It would be different but it might be rubbish since it would seem Bellfruit did not make any more machines in with the screens AFAIK.
Your thoughts please.
Thanks, Adam

Personally I would have been bidding on the other Cops machine, much more fun.

What the cops n robbers one?
Its a bit too old for me I think, im too young to remember machines like it so would not really seem as fun for me I would guess and bring me back to my youth (since im in it!) like it may for some on here and furthermore it has a rear operning cabinet which must be a nightmare.

Yes and I love the bellfruit cabinet, better the the Genius ones IMO although I dont know if I like it better or not than Horizon, does anyone know if this machine runs on Scorpion 4 or 5?
Thanks, Adam

Rear opening cabinet isn't as bad as all that. How often do you plan on opening up the machine anyway? Cop the lot is one of the few club machines I have played in the wild, its entertaining but I would bet that the original copss andd robbers is more fun. Unless you enjoy holding all four reels all the time and hoping for nudges.

I do open up my machines quite a lot, more than the average person I would guess so this is why I would not get a rear operining one, modern machines are my favourite (and by modern I mean MPU5/Scropian 4+).
Thanks a lot for ginving your thoughts on the machine though.

personally i enjoy the game play and features on the older version. The new ones are too quick, and intimidating, and they tend to be the same over nad over until you start hitting a streaks.

if u intend to buy the machine also bare in mind that if the lcd screen goes then its gonna kill the price of the machine as alot of the features run on the lcd screen.

its scorpion 4 and the lcd screens are a nightmare as they run on seperate software ie.through a videocard and they were always going faulty.
we had about 7 of them and every one of them went faulty via the lcd screen.

he is a good seller and no doubt the machine is working but from experience the lcd's fail on these eventually and its sooner rather than later.
if the lcd doesnt power up then the machine doesn't power up.

all i can say if u got this machine then u best check with jnc to see if they have a spare lcd coz they are a nightmare to get hold off.
i had 2 of these machines meself a while back and again i was ok coz i had an account with bell fruit/mazooma/qps so spares wasn't a problem.
but if your a private collector personally i wouldn't bother with buying one

Thanks for the info there,
In light of the LCD I wont be getting it since no doubt it will break.
Once again thanks for that.

Wonder if it's a chipped one? You don't see many of these for sale actually. Don't even see many of them when your out and about. A lot of places got rid of theirs. With all the potential problems you can have with them now i know why!

It does power up if the screens dead, just the screen don't work. Stay well clear of these as the screens are shit. I have a stack of these all faulty, burnt out. I got a good price for my working ones
The original cops is tops!!

we have had 4 or 5 of these machines and all the faults were giving the error codes for the screens and didn't allow the machine to power up.
i think is was more to do with the video software as well and not just the lcd screens.

Yes that would make sense. A faulty adder board would show an error. In my experience the LCD's are more likely to go down though. Cheap shit from china
