The 64 was a classic!
I remember my mum sending my stepdad(1) out to get her one for christmas, the idiot came back with a vic 20, and she wasnt too pleased!
Can anyone remember what this game was called?
There was a game that me and my mates played to death on the 64, it involved moving floors and racing each other to collect things on the screen, without falling to the floor below. I remember getting the game free with a commodore magazine, and it had the word bobble or bubble in the title, (not bubble bobble or the like as it was freeware).
It was a scream playing it in 2 player mode, can anyone remember what it was called? If I knew what it was called, then I might be able to find it on www.romshare.net.

the only game i ever really played to death on the 64 was Uridium, the best vertical shoot em up at the time....and copied so many times by so many software houses..and the sid chip was excellent compared with the speccys beep...and how many people remember standing in W H Smiths typing this little basic file on the speccys??

This brings all the memories back.
My fav Amiga games are sensible world of socer and cannon fodder.
For the old spectrum 48k I have manic miner and chukkie egg on my pc, you have to see them to believe them. Loading games from cassettes, those were the days.

I had an amiga...was a great peice of kit
loved the games...loved Octamed and Noisetracker...loved the workbench(windows clone) ...loved the whole damn thing
Thats why i went about and got every amiga game ever made for non-PD class.
I think the song goes...
way-0....way-0....way0, way0, way-0

::First jackpot::-::2p-a-go Winspin::-::£1.50 jackpot from 4p gamble::-::was still in a pram:: Anyone fancy doing WinSpin? Cant find it and would love to see it done.
Only £500 jackpot on Little Devils which I got waiting for a Rainbow Riches (£70) feature to end. Then I got £210 on the feature on Rainbow Riches. My mrs was happy that day!

i sold my last pieces of amiga hardware last year.
things had changed since the a500, i had the 20mb hard drive for a whopping £399. but the latset i had was a a1200 in a custom tower, with scsi writer. this ran the bbs - the cheesefactory bbs.
pirates saw the end of the amiga. one of, if not thee last release was alienbreed-tkg. this was swipped from the vaults of the software house and released well before the programs ever made it in the real world.
a great pitty, and i moved to the pc with dubious caution. 10 years on and the odd custom built server in the middle, i dont regret the change, though i still look back with great admiration for the amiga.
