Was having a browse on eBay looking at the next machine to buy when I come across this ancient bandit (link below).
Certainly takes me back to the first time gambling (buttons the size of a Giant Squids eyes).
Anyone remember these - I guess there should be some older ones among us that remember these early machines. Just thought it was interesting to see such an old machine still working perfectly (so item description says).
See how the bidding goes I may have a last minutes bid on this just for old times sake (although not very interesting to play these days).

They are better looking than having a modern machine, but this is quite a lot of money for a none indian head/ allwin type earlier machine.. This age they usually go about £50.... I wouldn't mind one though....They have so little in them as well I would imagine they last for a long time!!

I think I've seen the Tic Tac Toe one, nice machine!! Would love an Allwin IndianHead or whatever they are called they look the B*llocks and make good furniture..

Yeah - It does seem a bit expensive on second thoughts. Would love one of these in the garage - although hitting the massive £1 / £2 jackpot is hardly work getting excited about - Just the nostalgia of playing.
Tic Tac Toe (1 arm bandit) - Don't think I ever played that one - Must be a nice edition to a collection.

Its my only machine, sadly it needs some work and I aint got time or the knowledge to fix it I don't fancy stripping down a machanical bandit I aint that way inclined if it was mpu4 or later I'd have go. It is a nice showpiece though takes the old 5p coins I never want to sell it I'll find some way of keeping it when I move.

You count ages in hexadecimal? If so you are getting closer.

And if they didn't go for dso much money I would definitely get one!! They make magnificent features in a room... Not like todays machines... All lights and no elegance........

Certainly do - I have some old cocktail cabinet arcade machines - 1 x Bombjack and 1 x Phoenix - When friends come around can't keep them off them - and again the certainly look much better than the new arcade machines.
Only trouble is my missus has said no more - so that means no more ever in the house.
Sometimes wish I was single again.

Aah, i wondered if anyone from here or The Mecca had won this. Nice one mate - and a bargain price too!! Not too hard to get hold of an MPU3 if you need one either.
