#315714 What a scam - Touchscreen iPub Fruit Machine

pies - your correct, pro's trawl the pubs but sadly theirs not enough general play by anybody else because they get bit hard.

#315655 What a scam - Touchscreen iPub Fruit Machine

Posted by nails on 06 February 2018 - 07:37 PM in Real Fruit Machines

this is why people just dont play them anymore. Streak or not, if it say just paid £200, its only because it was allowed to, and therefore should continue as normal. Sadly thats not the case anymore and even on £1 per play, £44 for a board is way too high. thats the equivalent of £1 £176 for a board.

#316447 {MPU5}Party Animal Wdx

Make sure Shrink To Fit is checked in preferences

all sorted, ive no idea how it became unticked.

Excellent game play from the Barcrest camp. even better with a lower jackpot to make the climb a tad easier. It actually made me sad that such great game play, graphics and sound have been halted merely to make more money from producing FOBTs, B3;s and now casino B2 machines.

I cant believe for a second that the reels side of the business didnt make any money. Now we have DOND shite everywhere. Might be good for players (cue onabucket on youtube) but for the lone punter its an ATM in reverse - you feed it money and it doesn't come back.

Bellfruit must know how crap they have become?????

#316482 How Is Blackpool For Hi Tech Machines :)

Posted by nails on 08 March 2018 - 08:32 PM in Real Fruit Machines

Thanks so much for the replies, Nails when you say old Hi Techs do you mean like the JPM Rollercoaster era or a bit later such as Barcrests Space Raiders and clones
and Extreme Gaming Most Daunting and clones type?

Personally I'm not keen on any Hi Techs with a Jackpot over £35, that's when it all went down hill for me so don't really play in pubs and I just want that seaside feeling back, but as you say if it's Lo Techs and DOND at every seaside then that really is a shame.

Just want a good few Barcrests and Extremes and not Bullion Bars in every arcade, Tommy you say there is a lot of Hi techs at Coral island, do they have Barcrests etc or is every single one of them DOND?

Thanks guys

pretty much yeah, extreme, vivids, barcrest you name it.

honestly - play them all for free on here, sadly the good old days are gone.

#316476 How Is Blackpool For Hi Tech Machines :)

Posted by nails on 08 March 2018 - 02:17 PM in Real Fruit Machines

Hi FT90,

I've traveled to gt Yarmouth over 20 times in the last 2 years specifically to visit the arcades on business.

sadly i have to tell you, seaside resorts are just not the place to play hi-techs anymore. as time goes on, what is left will be replaced with the ex-pub DOND clones.

I've also visited blackpool. and whilst they are really geared up for the seaside trade, its a similar scenario. all the old hi-techs really are old.

if its value you want, you can stiull find them in the seafront arcades, but if you do like a good punt on a hi-tech, stick to pubs.

hope that helps

#314917 Help with restoring Windows 10 back on HP laptop

Posted by nails on 16 January 2018 - 09:46 AM in Any Topic Chat

There is an alternative here - ( my issue is that windows 10 doesn't recognize the drivers for the asus pci-e m.2 card and thus windows 10 wont install)

Once you have windows 10 fully installed with barebones or full reinstall of all you programs, use a program like acronis true image to make a full image of your setup. Actually i fully endorse the acronis package, it will even give a F11 prompt before windows loads so you can go direct into the  backup before windows loads.

even better, it will create a hidden partition that you can access in the event of faliure.

if you have trouble sourcing acronis, just ask ;)

#253440 FME (mame development)

Posted by nails on 30 June 2013 - 09:46 PM in Latest News & Updates

Thank you kindly to Daryl and Ady for setting up this section, due to DADS forums coming to a close, ive asked el condor if he could kindly swing by here and report any development that comes to light.

El condor had previously explained to me that he thought the way progress worked was that, well, nothing was really reported until it was finished. This may have been the case on other boards, but I and I'm sure others will agree that we are indeed all very grateful for all snippets of information that we can get.

here is a quick update from the man himself -

"Just passing around the fact that I've resurrected the email contact form at the http://agemame.mameworld.info blog - this should let people get hold of me outside of the forums for now."

I've started work on the layout tools again, mainly trying to get something easier to  use together - so while there's nothing in MAME right now, there may be an additonal release at some point.
