I wish I could attach the folder, but I do have Barcrest it's amazing MPU5 on here somewhere, 2 versions but I know one's £70 £1 stake. It was definitely done as a layout. I'm sure Manic Muncher was too somewhere.
I released It's Amazing on £35/£70 as classics and TommyC did the DX's, Manic Muncher was released at Desert Island Fruits by Reg.

Were there a lot of MPU6 machines released? When was MPU6 released?
J
I believe it was around late 2008 - early 2009, A lot of machines that got £35 - £70 upgrades had both MPU5/6 versions while £70 only versions were strictly MPU6. It's Amazing being in the initial wave shortly before release of the £70 Jackpots has MPU5/6 versions, with the likes of Pacman being MPU6 only.
Count Ya Cash is an oddity that it's a £70 Jackpot only but has both a MPU5/6 release! Given it uses the newer "standards" at the time i can only imagine it was a test bed to see how MPU5 coped with it all.

#325653 SWP - Colour of Money & Million Pound Drop
Posted by Matty.N on 07 May 2019 - 08:49 PM in Other Emulation Discussion
It's done a number on every single exe file on the PC and had a f*** about in the registry but i was due a reinstall anyway so this has forced my hand.
I'll take some blame. It popped up with a virus warning as soon as I unzipped them but ignored it as a false positive.
For anyone interested the virus is in Crazybars post above. Thank you to BJ for removing the files and no Ill feelings towards you exclaret.
Just doing a scan on my external drives that were plugged in at the time then I'll get the fun task of reinstalling everything underway

A quirky little machine from BWB i've had sitting in my WIP pile for a good few months. Plays & sounds like a Red Gaming machine so could very well be one like some other BWB machines of this era.
Any issues please let me know and as per usual requires the wonderful MFME Font obtained here - http://www.desertisl...e/55-mfme-font/

First of all extract the zip below then load up MFME, enter edit mode (CTRL & E or use the menu at the top for Design > Edit Mode) then right click Window Size > Max Monitor Res then finally go to roughly the top left corner of the layout (Under the red bar), right click > Load from file & select "EPOCH BLANK LAYOUT.GRP"

#320948 {Scorpion 5}Let's Play Darts (Electrocoin)
Posted by Matty.N on 28 September 2018 - 11:35 AM in Scorpion 5
Cheers for this, never even heard of this machine before, same as the old Bar X extreme that was done a while back in the MFME 5 days. Need more info on it. How long does it take to initialise, because it doesn't make the 4 beeps constantly about 4 times. Also does it have the same kind of dubba dubba classic electrocoin sounds? As I've not seen it and been into the most easier machines like that of Magic 10, Magic 7 etc, I am not as such in the know about other electrocoin machines. I always thought they had their own tech category in this site anyway, and I never know they crossed platforms using S5.
It is a high tech machine so isn't anything like a Bar X and It takes about 30 - 45 seconds to initialise. Electrocoin did a few machines that weren't Bar X clones, they even have a few Deal or No Deal clones!

Thanks to the ROM provider, Reg for the dartboard and the MFME Font used and also to A:E for the Eraser font.
Shortcuts can be found in the layout notes and the Eraser font itself is found in the layout directory.
If anyone wishes to DX this there is a flyer in this thread at DIF - http://www.desertisl...ts-electrocoin/
Finally as always the MFME Font is a must it can be grabbed here - http://www.desertisl...e/55-mfme-font/

I see what you mean, could be a £5 only variant? But it does seem a blatant straight copy!

This is QPS Jailbreak, running on Pluto5, we have roms but they don't run due to not having the correct PIC Chip emulated if i remember correctly.
