I have 2 old 80's machines and was wondering if its possible to adjust the Jackpot from £4 tokens to £2 cash, 

The machines are

Supertubes

and 

Pound stretcher by Ace

Any advise would be great - thanks guys and gals!

i guess i would check to see if the barboot has it in the menu, failing that i would remove the HD and have it as a slave and search for it. 

 

failing that i would run a disk checker and see if it can resurrect it.  hell - anything from the section16/31 days are worth keeping!  maybe you have the original mpu software also, thus it doesnt like b3 stuff ?

It is definately the S31 version, and i will gladly give a copy to whoever needs one, if i can get it going, at the moment the menu won't load up so need to get a keyboard from work tomorrow (can't find mine anywhere!), the HD slave bit is beyond my technical abilities at the moment, but I will youtube and learn it :-),

Hi everyone, I've been scanning the forum (wished I had done this before),

but i have knakered my Rainbow Riches Rio machine, it did have RR s31 game on it, and I thought it would be a good idea to have some demo games on .... so far so good, but ... it looks like my RR version has gone, the version i can get is the b3 version, and brings up bad chararister error, has anyone got any ideas of what I can do, rather than scrapping it?

When the £2 stakes eventually do come in, the games designers will have (if not already) come up with something to bypass the law somehow, a pre 50-1 £2 gamble to get £100 for the roulette wheel for example, the GC need to be careful of the standards they set, the designers are usually 5 steps ahead of them anyway

Hi all

I have brought a broken machine I think,

Its MPU 6 and stuck in Self Test mode, all power LEDs are green, 

basically I have flashing lights on the top and the large LCDs scroll to £70.00 and then restarts.

I have disconntected the MPU and its the same,

Gone through all self tests and the only thing its successful in is the sound mode, ie. channel 1, channel 2 both

Any ideas guys ? shame really as it has been converted to the new £1.

Yes, is 4 nudges no win, for jackpot nugde, works on the emulated version - difficult to get though as there is almost always a win

regarding the Band Aid as a free win - weren't they really difficult to get in the first place?,

Got to ask, what did the designer do in the Ace machines?

Oh whilst im online - Ive got a BARCREST - Leps Gold £70 jpot machine, and one of the test options is - SPY LOG - and when you go into this it gives a few numbers that don't make sense - does anyone who what this is ??

There is 2 different circuit boards I use for fruit machine

1st one is an iPac 2 keyboard encoder. Basically it changes/matches the buttons on the fruit machine into keyboard buttons. Basically if I opened up wordpad on a pc and pushed my fruit machine start button the computer will think I've pushed the space bar. It is quite a simple bit of circuit board that you can wire all your buttons up to. A more in depth tutorial will be done by myself if needed.

2nd is the Pacdrive. All these circuit boards are made by a firm called ultimarc. Ebay has em all.

But basically the pacdrive sends a 5v signal out to triggers or LEDs etc. So you could wire up the led light in your switch, then tell MFME to send a signal to an LED associated with the start button say?

They plug into your computer via USB and are also powered by your pc.

I knew nothing about this stuff a few months ago. Uptown has helped me loads. Credit goes to him in all fairness but I will help with anyone if they are stuck.

I can buy an ipac, and connect spare fruit machine buttons i've got, and this will emulate a normal keyboard press, 

so do i have to assigned a button to a keyboard letter - if so how do you do that - and then i assume when i assign a letter  - when the machine flashes lights on intro mode etc, these button lights will follow, - sorry to be a pain!

Sorry to be a pain, but im lost already i.e. pacdrives etc?, how do you get them to work?, or am i jumping the gun, and you will (hopefully), explain later
