Great release, my poor low end Acer laptop is much happier running it in general than 5.1 - Scorp5 running a lot better for me! I think I've found a bug with the Master Volume. I've set several mpu4's to 200 but when I go back to them the volume is back down to 100. I've checked the gam file after I've upped the volume and there is an entry for MasterVolume 200 but it gets ignored when you reload the same machine  and then deleted from the gam  file altogether.

We managed to get it sorted last night. Seems there was a dodgy connection down to the hopper from plug j. Working well now.

My mate has just bought a DOND Whats in your box but is having problems with the hopper unit. He's getting a Pay Unit Error 17 and the hopper seems completely without power. He's bought a 2nd hand hopper but is having the same issue. He's checked power down to the hopper and hes getting 24v and 13v but in test mode the hopper doesn't do anything in Coin Out.

 

Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix please? There's currently no cash in the hopper, would this make a difference? (other techs he has (Impact/MPU4/M1a) the hopper still tries to payout without any coins in)

Here are the sounds I captured last night off my mates Red Hot Fever in Genesis 1 cab. Both recorded at the same time ,one off my Galaxy A3 and the other off my Sony HD camcorder. Hope these are of use!

fine looking dx. Not tried it yet but will do. Did you change the roms over for the Global ones as i used the Impulse ones in the Classic?

I also have a question...what are the differences between the Impulse and Global versions? Is it similar to bwb rebuilds of old barcrests where just the profile is different?

@ritdav its an issue when your laptop is at 100% volume and mps/mpu4 much quieter than other techs, thats why im suggesting it 😃

My 3 item suggestions for any future update would be

1) volume control for mps and mpu4
2) hopper payout sounds for later techs
3) be able to play random games only from certain techs. Sometimes id like to keep to older machines, sometimes newer.

Mfme 5.x is certainly getting its usage here, its just a brilliant update on what we had. A lot of hard work gone into it and im hugely grateful to Wizard for bringing it to us.

Next up from me is another Maygay Epoch, New York New York. Keys are in the Notes dialog. Thanks to Pook for providing the reference picture I've used for this layout.
 
There may be an issue with the values on the Stars and Stripes feature. It seems to favour £2/£4/JP and two specific Spins. I've compared to the picture and how the M1a machine On The Buses, which this is a clone of, goes through the lamps in test mode. If we find out that some of this is wrong I will upload a fixed version.
 
The layout uses one symbol from the Mattbats font included in the Zip and should be installed. It provides the football helmet font.
 
As usual Dx'ers feel free to use this layout as a base for a dx but give me a shout out when you release.

Im about 70% done doing a classic of this but i need a bit of help please! Im struggling to get the top feature and the mystery options lamped correctly but the machine wont let me stop on certain lamps even in demo mode. Does anyone know the correct order or have a picture of it where i can work it out? At the moment im using a combination of a youtube video and the layout for On The Buses!

Ive been trying to get Barcrest Open The Box running but the set it huge. A load of .p1 files and one set of p2-p8. Loaded p1-p8 as program roms but nothing happens. Any ideas? Cheers

Reg id like to see a release of muncher please! Been looking for the roms since v5 came out to do a classic. Probably my favourite Vivid...also one of, if not the last vivid machines they released
