I'm so glad I've finished with FME after all these years, if this is how it has become...


It hasn't become anything Daryl, it's the same old story of someone wanting more, and because this site is in such a dire state, they thought they'd try their luck at getting more elsewhere.

Reg implemented the download limits to stop others doing the same thing, so why should this member be treated any differently?

After all, most disabled people keep saying they want to be treated as equals and you can't have it both ways.

I believe he interacts with emulated machines via sound only and uses speech to text to interact with people online. Maybe cut him a little slack?

All this may be true, but I'm sorry, it in no way excuses trying to get more than others who haven't donated by asking for files to be sent rather than downloaded.

If he wants more than allowed then maybe go back to getting them from here, oh wait he can't seeing this place is in such a God awful state!

I might sound harsh, but being disabled shouldn't mean you are above a sites rules and that you get for free, privileges which others have paid to get.

I'm sorry that he has issues, but this shouldn't be used to circumvent the site rules.

Simply by asking for someone to do this, is imho just wrong.

He must know someone with PayPal who could donate for him and he refund them the fiver?

Failing that, send Reg a cheque or postal order!

There is no reason whatsoever nowadays that people can't pay for something online.

As for downloading a few a day and waiting till next day then rinse and repeat, how the hell can you manage to get through so many layouts in 24 hours?

Saving for your new house? Like a fiver would make any difference ffs! 😡🤬

Aaamusements knew who slotz-r-us was from April 2015, as I stated over at DIF and in spite of the accusations thrown at my post there. It never altered the facts.


Makes you wonder if he was on a percentage.

This place could also do with a dads cull of members I mean the two birthdays on here today for instance they last logged on here in
2006/2009 respectively and maybe a introduction topic where the newer members need to post before posting else where and finally a post count on when they can start downloading and finally finally bring back the authorisations for uploads especially for newer members?

Why not contact the owner and offer to buy him out?

That way you can implement as many changes as you want.

In the meantime, try and get your head round the fact that bugger all is ever going to happen unless the said owner releases his vice like grip on the place and he allows the Mods to do the job they were elected to do!

As to Richy, the situation is that Pete W will ban him as soon as Alex gives the affirmative. As far as I am aware Richy is not a silver supporter and hasn't been since 2016.


If this is who I'm thinking, I'm stunned!

Just goes to show you have no idea about people, unless you know/have met them etc.

A long long time ago, someone passed a comment on here in reply to a post I made, that they thought they might be a friend of Dorothy.

Now I'm just wondering if they have managed to suppress those tendencies and are now that far back in the closet, they've ended up in fu***ng Narnia and can't find their way back?

This might explain any awkward silence.

Btw I fully expect this post to vanish, along with my membership here, but hey ho, such is life

Hi Daryl, I'm so, so sorry to hear this sad news mate.

I can sympathise with you as it's only a few months since I lost my own Mum.

It's the worst thing in the world.

Cherish every second of the time you have left with her, months may not seem long to you, but I'd have given anything for that. As it was, we were told hours, but only had 13 minutes.

You are in my thoughts and prayers, and you know where I am if you need anything.

Take care of yourself mate.

You can put a different hasp in. Pretty hard to find though :(

 

Send Reflex a nice email, they are stripping T7s and rebuilding poop in them. But, no doubt will have buckets of hasps.


 

No mate, everyone want's the world but when 1 file is asked for, you know the drill ;)

Then they wonder why nobody wants to help them out with the dozens (or maybe just 40  ;)  ) of things they want yesterday  :mad:

Thanks for the photo. All of these have been sourced. Looks like mainly newest versions of each game.

 

Just that 0.8 Rocky is missing completely.
