Spell Bound is a game of Skill that delivers a test of knowledge with a hint of Magic spellboundswp.jpgthrown in
A random category is offered to the player and from the sub categories the player will have to try and calculate the name required from the number of letters given to identify it. Random letters are spun onto the win line and the player has to decide whether any of the letters offered appear in the title.
If so the player accepts any one of the letters or alternatively can choose to reject all of the letters offered.
Each wrong selection will result in the loss of a body part and when all of the body parts are extinguished then the game is over.
For each correct completed title the player advances a column ultimately into cash values.

£50 is a good price. Looks OK never used. He wants the space and the owner of the arcade reckons he can't use it, because a change in the law.

Never seen one before, a bit strange, it has 'Accept' buttons where the 'Hold/Nudge' buttons should be.

Reading the 'Empire' description, it's a bit like a General Knowledge Hangman game.

It's the same arcade Bencrest bought Casino Viva Mexico the other month and he was happy with his purchase.

Yeah, I was very happy, I wasn't expecting any help with the machine but the owner and another member of staff helped me load it in to the car (I was expecting to have to do the work myself!)

Interesting machine, well worth £50 in my opinion, especially if it's in excellent condition as described.

I'd better not buy it though, if all goes to plan I have another 2 machines lined up :o

Mentioned this to dad last night - note we'd both had a few beers! - and he actually suggested I get it (he's a bit odd, I get a machine myself and he's not keen, I mention two machines on here and he's egged me on to buy both of them!!).

Will ask him again today. I'm guessing you didn't get much (if any) chance to see it working? When you say it was in good condition, would you say it could almost be classed as 'as new' to back up what the seller said?

Well done M8. I was in a hurry and I didn't want to buy it (well I did, but no space), so I didn't want to waste too much of the guy's time. He' genuine enough and when i asked him if it worked, he seemed very honest about it being OK.

Looks brand new, Very I mean very good condition externally. Iv'e never seen it in his arcade, so he must be telling the truth that he never used it .

Anyway the machine is £50 (Genesis2), the bits inside must be worth that or more. Shame to break such a nice machine in such good nick. never seen one before.

Just wonder what else he has tucked away???

He has bought an new 3 player machine, I'm wondering if he is having a clearout to help pay for it. There is a 3 player Golden X in the arcade which needs a bit of TLC, could be next!!!!!

Go for it. :)

Will certainly mull it over. It's an hour each way which isn't the end of the world!

I used to play this in a local Indian takeaway, I think there's still a couple of these kicking about in town. They all popped up back when they stopped unlicensed premises from keeping Cat D machines (10p play /£5 jackpot / 70% payout) in, since apparently £1/£50 jackpot with 30% payout was a good alternative?!! :o

Yeah, it's worth that in spares, and actually stripping machines for spares is a laugh, it's just whether it makes sense to go out and get it. I / we do have the room, and £50 is certainly a fair price. I suppose for gameplay it could be a good laugh, I've always wanted to see if it's possible to JP one - if it's switchable to 50% payout it should only cost a ton to drop it :o

No I don't know Source, sorry. I 'm not a regular visitor at the diner, once a month, if that. You could try giving them a ring on 01362698651.
