On 23 June 2011, I was diagnosed with Alzheimers Disease In November 2012, I was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease and Parkinsonian Syndrome too.

She has left behind some excellent music. I particularly like her version of State of Independence and Love to Love You Baby.

Yes another classic music icon has gone to the big disco in the sky. Such a shame as I loved her music back in the day. R.I.P
