Ok I'm fiddling around with this early Scorpion 4 machine from QPS. A fairly mediocre machine in my opinion, it has the feeling that it was cobbled together during someone's lunch break. The poor execution of this machine is also making it tough to crack the classic, but I will break it down in time.

However it is quite good fun to play, and reminds me of the old BWB machines like Heaven and Hell.

Maybe in a week or so it should be good for release. So far I have cracked the reels and overlays, and identified a few lamps from the matrix.

Well here is where I am now. Feature board, cash ladder and prize stacks all cracked. I've a very good idea of what everything else is as well so might not be too much longer with this one.

Not that anyone appears to care :biglaugh:

Ok looking for a little help from an experienced layout creator please :)

This is pretty much there now, but still needs beautifying. Problem is I'm a little bit puzzled by the lamping for the name of the machine, and you'll see why.

Is anybody willing to take a look for me and see if they can make sense of it?

Ok here it is. Password has been PMed over to you both.

Cash ladder on the right, feature trail towards the bottom, prize stacks right of middle. I am having trouble with lamps 249-254 and 235-248 which I have grouped together near the middle.

249 range flashes when feature exchange is available and is lit in attract mode. After exchanging, the 235 range then lights up solid as well. The 235 range also seems to flash for an invincible feature, making me think that the 235 range is the machine name. But the 235 range does not light in attract mode! So what on earth are they both?

Pics of machine available here http://www.fruit-emu..._1

I also can't work out what 32 and 68 do, but they definitely do something.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate this.

Ok this is just about done, barring a few adjustments. Does anybody feel like doing a little playtesting? It's an interesting enough machine.

Ok mate. I was looking for some experienced guys, but I'm not against letting people give it a shot no matter how inexperienced they are.

Just gonna wait for a couple more testers and then will post the file up later, and PM out the password.

Here's a screeny to hopefully generate some interest. It's a VERY busy classic.

Ok I got three testers so that's probably enough. Here is the file, PM with password will follow shortly. For the benefit of Nick, I'm interested in feedback on the following:

- The special feature symbol on middle reel. Does it look ok?
- Any mistakes
- Colour scheme - is it ok on the eyes, or does it make them bleed?
- Is it overly cluttered?
- The balls in the middle of the feature board. Is it clear what these are and how they work?
- Anything else you think would make this a better layout?

There's no rush to get back to me with comments. Take your time and have a play around with it.

Shortcuts as expected, H is for HI/LO bonus. F is for Feature bonus...
