hehe, very rarely do i do any layouts
sadly i havent done the classic to this & probably wont for 2 reasons
1 being as ive got 3 layouts to work on, 2 i aint even touched the 3rd is being annoying =/
the 2nd being that once the 1024 dx is out a classic is near useless imo

Yeah but classics come in handy for us to base our layouts on when one hasn't been done.not all layouts are as easy as sc4 are to identify the lamps.hehe, very rarely do i do any layouts

What's the error that you're getting with the reels? Just had a quick look at it, and it appears to be working like it should. The settings below are for the band reel.
16 Stops
-2 Offset
320 Motor Steps
Does it give you the error during play?

Yeah the normal reels with the overlay numbers, gives errors mate, the numbers don't add correctly to the feature.i.e 1-2-3-4-5-6 the band reel is working fine for me.

Hmmm. Sounds like a new one on me chaps. Send me the classic so I can delve further. It would be a shame if it doesn't work correctly after all the work you've put into it.

Just had a quick look at it, and it looks like the, "Reel Test" was leading you a merry dance!
It's happened before on a S4 machine. Can't remember which one it was, though. Basically, what the reel test tells you is a big fat lie. For some reason, it simply forgets to tell you where all the overlays are supposed to go on the main reels, and leaves a few out just to keep you on your toes.
I've saved the corrected bands out, so just load them in to the layout and play it again to see if there are any more problems. There might have been one I've missed, but I think it's fine now.

Thanks for the efforts, "but" it is still the same, so the only thing to do is just load the reels in without overlays, and play it to try work out where the overlays go.
when i say the same " i.e "it isn't reading the overlays correctly so the majority of them must be wrong...unless it's just ttp.

It's alright where I'm at, mate. Been playing it for a while using the started layout by Bruce and I've had no problems with the numbers not matching. Which overlays are not matching for you?
