it comes up with a error on the dash saying pay unit err 17 i dont have a clue about fruit machine tbh and i would like some help and info please many thanks in advance

wants the wheel in the hopper that throws out the coins replacing the motor has prob gone

That's a bit drastic Dave, I'd make sure the plug is properly connected, try cleaning the opto sensors, and make sure there's no coins blocking them.

 

Failing that, make sure the hopper is getting the correct voltage from the psu.

 

Then if it still doesn't work I'd go down the new motor route.  If it does turn out to be the motor, I might have one, but can't swear to it.

 

Can't check just yet either as I'm decorating the whole house, and can't get to anything in the garage
