I'm seeing the admin/moderators are replying to individuals with certain replies, but not addressing the issue raised in the main thread I made...
 
Very sad times, especially when MFME is taking off again to a place it used to be, I can't believe how the interests of the site has managed to get to this stage.

I am responding to posts I can. The comprehensive section for Mfme 5 layouts took Alex and me about 2 days effort and it is a right ballache from what I recall. I can understand the reticence wrt doing it again only for that to be rendered obsolete.

It is clear members want this and ultimately it is Alex's site to decide whether and what to go ahead with. I am sure if assistance by trustworthy members was available to help set up and move layouts to appropriate locations then that would take a big chunk of doubt away. Just my thoughts.

OK then you misunderstood the post. You suggested it was a nasty thing to say and implied it was hostile. I was pointing out that it was not hostile or nasty, simply that things are simple when "you" don't have to do it.

I never mentioned your newness here so not sure what that's about.

Oh and see Geddy for lessons on quoting posts; you need this skill if you are going to last in FME land.

How comes I am not the only one that misunderstood this post. Don't patronise me either as I am still getting the hang of things. It is not my issues that need addressing really is it., as I think the people in charge of this site have other issues to address!!! Think it better be sorted before members start turning their backs and going elsewhere and as for this sites history it sounds like this place has had this on their plate more than once.
