I was looking at buying a fruit machine for my shed, the only issue is that a machine of 65 inches in height or less would fit.

 

Unless I want a sit down fruit machine the only other way to fit one in would be say to jig saw some inches off the base of the machine, i.e were the coins go. 

 

Would anyone see any issues in doing this?

Some times there's 4 pads made of mdf on the bottom which add extra height,see if yours has them and just remove them.

On what type of machine are the mdf boards?

I've had em on mpu 5 genesis cabs and mpu 4 cabs. I'm guessing any of the bellfruit cabs would be the same to unless there on castles.
