Evening all.

Sorry for the daft question but hoping one of you could spare me some advice :)

My current laptop seems to be rather sluggish at running certain games on MFME Some are okay and some are sluggish.

If i was to purchase a new laptop what would people suggest the best spec to go for to run all the mfme games smoothly ?

Many thanks

Andy

One with a i3 or i5 processor.
Probably about 2.2ghz speed or more.
8gb ram.

Adder 5 run slow for me on 3.9ghz i7.

As big a screen as possible too, mines a 17” one
But due to creating the mouse keys are dying which could become a problem if they fall off
The more I do today, The less I do tomorrow.
Fme is alive and screaming into the 21st century!
Enjoy FME and Happy Gaming!!!!

Even 4gb ram.
Personally i would go for something around the £370 mark for new.
Anything under £330 is normally pants.

buy one where you can rotate the display in the display settings so you can see all the machine... also use an external keyboard for when you do...

On a similar note, what specs for a desktop computer? My Dell XPS from 2008 has had no sound since windows 10 updated in the spring so been having to use a lappy which is shite... so am looking for a new desktop pc, would like MFME and MAME and some Retro emulators to run on it (Megadrive, Snes)

Thank you in advance.

Gary. :)
