Pinmame and Virtual Pinball

Completely off subject but does anyone use pinmame or virtual pinball ?
I stumbled across a site the other day and im having problems using the files.
I tried to log a help topic in the sites forums but can post new messages even when registered.....

lol....your not the only 1, i joined up yesterday and i'm all in a titter tryin to work out how to get the roms to no avail i'm all confused about this pinball site

I can get the table to load and the flashing lights but its almost a similar case to having a layout and missing the rom...

I had a right time sussung VP when I first discovered it, but stick with it as it's well worth it. Best place you can try for roms is...

He are the tables complete with links to the corresponding roms. But you'll have to register with VPforums first before you can download roms.
There is also a quite decent tutorial here...

thanks pook.
I got the roms late last night but when i went to test it Pinmame said that the files were missing from the directory but they are in there.
See atached doc for screen shots....

Unlike FME there is no need to unzip the roms. I have all my tables in one folder and all my roms zipped in a separate one.

Ok. i left them zipped and started again yet the same error comes up.
Do you have a working copy setup with the roms and table in seperate directorys ?
Could it be the version of Pinmame that i have installed ?

For those interested i now got it working.
The roms i had downloaded were updates and not the full working rom.
