I had a right time sussung VP when I first discovered it, but stick with it as it's well worth it. Best place you can try for roms is...

http://www.vpforums.com/vptables

He are the tables complete with links to the corresponding roms. But you'll have to register with VPforums first before you can download roms.

There is also a quite decent tutorial here...

http://www.mameworld...e.htm#downtable

Hope that helps.

Unlike FME there is no need to unzip the roms. I have all my tables in one folder and all my roms zipped in a separate one.

Ok. i left them zipped and started again yet the same error comes up.

Do you have a working copy setup with the roms and table in seperate directorys ?

Could it be the version of Pinmame that i have installed ?

What version are you using?

For those interested i now got it working.

The roms i had downloaded were updates and not the full working rom.

Thanks for all the help.
