Make sure you are running MFME v5.1 or MFME v6 for a start

The roms Ive downloaded are for MFME V3 so thats what I'm using. They wont load in MFME 5.1 or 6

So to answer your original question, no, there is no way to fix it if you are running v3

Version 5 seems to work with the roms I have and seems to have fixed the audio.. New to all of this

As MFME 3.2 was around for ages and ages, a lot of the machines are listed under that version. They'll run fine in 5.1, and after it converts them to the new file format, they'll likely run in 6. There is no need to run any of the other versions - they are there largely for legacy purposes...

Maybe the older versions should be removed, anything below MFME 5. It's just a little confusing for new members who are new to emulation.

Can i also say that new members may also find the old MFME 1 Layouts section a little confusing as alot of the layouts don't have the roms with them and have to be downloaded separately, i remember back in 2004 as a newbie i was confused by it all anyway.

I have actually found that some old proccon games work great in MFME 6 although I don't have mechanical meter triac sounds although it's no big deal. I would like the layouts to stay on this site, however, it is confusing which ones have ROMs and which don't. For example, sometimes, I might want to download roadhog, and the layout just has layout only, and you go to download the ROMs separately. All well and good. Once you're grabbing a few more with layouts and ROMs, you end up with an error. As I have said, I don't intend to use my money online until I know more on online safety and managing my personal money, then I may think of donating. However, I am staying a member here, even though I'm just a regular. I am just saying, IMO, the layouts should have ROMs included in all MFME versions.
