Howdy, folks. :)

Can anyone help me out with some release dates on the following machines?  I want to know when these machines were first released in the wild in the UK.  Been looking around on Google, etc, trying to find information on them, but have come back empty. :(

I just need the information for my release notes on the emulator, as I'm currently getting all my layout fully updated for MFME6+

Here's the list of machines:

Five Penny Nudger (MDM - MPS)
Around the World Club (Crystal - System 5)
Pac-Man (Mazooma - S4)
Pac-Man (QPS - S4)
Reely Crazy (BFM - S4)
Super Multi Nudge (Concept - S2)
The Big Breakfast (BFM - S4)
Viva Mexico (BFM - S4)

What I have been doing for mine - is looking a the roms.  The oldest dated rom in the folder I've used as a starting point and taken it as read that it's going to be pretty close to that, which is even more accurate if it's an early release revision.

I have already got some additional dates I didn't have in the game manager thanks to Ploggy's notes on his layouts.

What has surprised me, is that a lot of flyers for machines, don't contain a date on them, MPU4 in particular.

I've gotten a lot of information from looking inside the roms for release dates, but not all the techs show the information I need.  I can make a rough guess on nearly all of them, just need 100% confirmation.

The Smiley 2 cab machines are around 1999/2000.  I think SMN was mid nineties.  ATWC was 1993/4.  The Fivepenny Nudger was late MPS, so probably 1992/3.  And the Eclipse machine I'm not sure about.

Thanks for that Cap!  Just the sort of stuff I need.  Huge thanks for the information, mate.  How did you get the information, by the way?  Was it in the old Mazooma BBS tech doc from way back?

A man after my own heart.  I would have done exactly the same thing, and jotted it all down for future reference.  Some great information in that PDF you attached.  Massive thanks, mate. :)

Slightly off topic.

Just seeing Around the World club at the start of your post.

Will Around the World £6 JPM be able to run in the new emu?

Loved that slot in the wild and have seen various topics on the slot but never seen any progress with it,sadly.

Many thanks

Jay

Yes, mate.  I believe Wizard fixed the issues it had, so it should work now.

Do with have everything required to get a Around the World layout out there, like Mouse Trap, it's one Sys 5 machine, I remember well and would love to see.

Never seen the youtube video of the machine before. Takes me back to my old haunts of 90's

There's enough for a classic at least.  No pictures/fliers unfortunately.  Layout attached of it running. :)
