Dose anyone eles find they cant get into the chat room?

Turns out it was a bad pop-up blocker!!!

But i cant uninstall it, my spyware detector says that it is a spyware traking cookie which hides in the form of a pop-up blocker.

FME Chat was introduced as a trial to see if it was a good idea, if you needed questions answering or just wanted to chit-chat.

Currently to date this has not been used much.

So lets put it to the vote !!!

I am logged in as this user at this I.P. address???? it will reset in 180 seconds.....who say's you can't be in 2 places at the same time....is this what the topic points towards?.....not even logging out and back in from Emu will correct it.

Cheers r/b but i'm not running any pop-up stoppers, wish I was because that sounds a good solution so i'm still confused!!...I have even tried entering as a guest, but it's the I.P. add that it is saying is logged on (as it's static) so I may ask my ISP to change that and give that a try???

I've had a look at your problem from the database end adydb and I can't see any problem, so I'm pretty stumped. I have had users get stuck in before, but have always managed to get them out.

I might just scan the database for your IP address and see what comes up.

OK, scan complete and it tells me nothing apart from the fact you frequent the site alot!!

The only thing I can suggest is that you try another browser incase your Java in IE is buggered. Try downloading Opera with the Java pack, it should be a free download. Not the best solution, but all I can think of at the moment.

I might also look at a different chat module as this one has had a few problems.
