Gotta take my hat off to MFME 5.1 - it's the little things.....

Was playing MFME 5.1 yesterday with "Fruit Snappa" (thanks Ploggy) and I noticed that if you hold two reels and only let one spin the whirring noise is dampened as there's only the one spinning. Then, when you inevitably don't get the cherry that you needed, and all three spin again, it's louder once more.

 

Absolutely superb!

 

Wizard, you should be very proud of yourself for what you have achieved.

 

I'm loving it :)

Hi uptown47 can you send me a PM to the fruit snappa layout? Well all I can say is hats off to Wizard! I have the same experience with EachWay Nudger MK 2 and 3. On the MFME 5 lite a nudge, it actually sounds like money is coming out of your computer, uh ... I've dropped a £1 somewhere, where is it? lol. I think, however, that this should be enabled in all techs for emulation for example electrocoin and epoch, as that is what emulation actually is, or is that simulation? I don't know. Can someone correct me with these definitions please? 3 cheers for wizard!

They will only work if people add them to the layout. A lot of the newly released stuff doesn't have the effects set up unfortunately.

Always wondered what that "effects" page was next to the "pacdrive" page. I also feel a bit daft for not working it out before now...

i never seam to know what goes where or i would add it,

the effects say traics  on the left, meters on the right but again i ain't a clue what goes where then there's payout, 2,3 etc are these different sounds. is it possible to list what payout is what  in the next mfme update, as in mpu4 £1 payout or mps token payout for instance in the next update so its easier to add and finally any chance you could add a notey sound effect the whirring noise it makes when you add a note?

I have already added effects for coin mechs, hoppers and note acceptors. These will need to be manually configured in most cases.

 

You need to watch the output from Diag -> Misc as I have explained before to see which meters and triacs are being activated, also enable Datapak to see which meters are activated when coins are put in and paid out.

Looking forward to setting up effects on all techs.

I do think effects will really enhance the emulation experience.

Just to clarify which techs can already be configured in v5.1 ?
