First let me get my apologie out of the way to Chasbons I tried to stick to one thread but this is a new question about Triple 7 demo uploads not errors with my new machine. So I'm Sorry in advance for this okay

Triple 777 demo issues. Iast night I followed a link and found a whole page of demo bpaks I could add to my machine okay so I copied them to a USB went to install them on my machine and came quickly unstuck.

On a Rio Enhanced you use a USB on the pc section and install your update okay so when I went to do this and there's no place on the board to insert a usb  apart from the 4 on top but they don't seem to recognise there is a usb stick installed so the 4 main usbs are being used by the machine and there is no other spare like the rio enhanced machine so can any one assit me with where to upload my demo games to my machine please. Now my second question here is can I safely remove one of the four usbs to add a demo usb or not? As I'd like to play with these games? now this also leads me on to another question. Can I use a dual usb connector so i can upload the demos to my computer or am I over thinking the process and there's a simple way please help

Seen the manual but it tells me nothing about how to upload and why its different  from the Rio enhanced machine like I've explained above.

If some nice person on here could assist me then it'll be cool okay thanks anyone and once again mate I'm Sorry to Chasnbons for using a new thread as well as my old thread but I wanted it to be seen okay.

maybe its not formatted correctly ?  ive had a similar problem with a TV i have, it didnt like a particular 16gb stick, then realised it was formatted to something other than NTFS.

otherwise it should be a simple case of going to the main screen and loading the news bpak's on.

I know it is different but memory sticks won't work in a car etc unless they are formatted to FAT32.. NTFS isn't recognised.

The problem here isn't the memory stick its where to put it if its the same as a rio then I'll simply try again but is it?

:D

Yes I agree to that now let me go in to a bit of detail here so hopefully this minor issue can get sorted and I can get to upload my demos to my machine. Now the first thing the USB stick is fat 32 I've just loaded Easeus Togo Partion maker and it suggest my USB is fat 32. Now I now need to move on to the discussing the bottom section of the pc. Now having had a Rio enhanced and have already uploaded demos to that machine I thought it would be very similar to do this is where I hit a snag there are 4 USB's on top that are not used at present but for some reason they don't recognise my USB on them then we have 3 USB and an Ethernet port at the underneath of the pc cabinet. 1: is the USB extension to the belly of the door whatever that means now I've tried removing that and it doesn't recognise or verify the system if I put the USB in the door USB or the place where the extension sits so have no choice but to remove it so when I do this it sets itself up normally. Then we have the second USB next door to the Ethernet which is the touchscreen controller for the monitor and then we have the Ethernet cable. at the side of that we have the two monitors cable but no other place to add a USB that I can see so how do I load a USB and get the machine to recognise it?

This leads me on to another question now if I purchase a dual USB can  I use that to upload the demos while having all the leads still attached?

or is there an easier solution to this little problem?

If someone has the same board like I have which is a MPU 5 board then is there another solution to this or what? I await my betters and more knowledge acquaintances on here For a solution if any

Have you copied the HDD yet?

If not, then you REALLY need to stop messing until you have a backup, or you will probably end up VERY unhappy.

These machines are really nothing like ERio cabs in that it's not as simple to do things like you could on your old machines.

You've not had it a week and have 9 games installed, so surely there's  no rush to have dozens to play in demo and you can't be bored with the games it came with already?

Sadly I can seriously see a repeat of when you got the ERio if you carry on like this :(

T7's can get really upset if you start switching the USB ports, your always supposed to keep them in the same ones even when changing PC to a replacement.

Like others have said if you continue to mess with it your gonna run into trouble sooner or later and as a private owner SG wont help you one bit if you totally screw it up, and i doubt the people you bought it from would either if they knew how much messing about with it your doing......

Just a couple of comments as I sit here nursing walking wounds from yesterday...

1... Isn't the USB upgrade port the one on the belly, I have always had 100% success with this.
2... For the OP, you have what, nine games working with this be very happy that is more then what most people have ( 4 - 5 ). You can also only show that many and cannot have demo games on the screen the same time as live games.
3... The way things are going for you - you will break your machine - seek help BEFORE you do anything. BTW a dedicated site for this machine already exists and I have an area at DIF as well.

...you paid 4K for this, I paid 1.6K for mine. Your extra 2.4K gave you three more games then me. I get you want everything but unless you have buckets of spare cash, enjoy your machine as it is. Mine is not working ATM due to the coin mech being screwed after an upgrade to the new £1. I will get it fixed. It hurts tho, however compared to your losses that you are likely to have if you carry on messing - that is a lot of cash to throw away. It's if that PC goes wrong of the hard drive goes in it, the odds are really not in your favour for it to be working again.

The only thing you should be doing IMO is getting a clone of the hard drive and that is a potential risk....

I'm sure he's on there albeit under a different name, I could be wrong but it seems a very big coincidence that they are asking the same questions ;)

We had the same scenario when he got his first ERio and ended up screwing the HDD without having immediate access to a ghost copy.  Fortunately ERio's are much easier to sort out than 777's.

Okay, I've listened to your comments and agree totally I can be very impulsive and want things I can't have but I'll confess my original idea was to get the demos on the machine then copy the hard drive so it hard all the demos on as well.

So, I'll put that idea aside for now and get the hard drive copied.

Now let me also confess the £4000 cost was my fault or so I believe. Having always wanted a triple 7 machine I looked at my budget at the time and thought I'd send an e-mail out to several different companies informing my top end of the budget was the £4000 so this is probably why I was charged that much. Now probably if I'd of said £3000 I'd of probably got one so I'll have to learn to keep my mouth shut about what I can afford and what I can't afford if I want something in the future. So let me know look at copying the hard drive first so which is the best hard drive cloning site to use I've already purchase a cloning device but having read about the problems with the blue screen of death and having to make sure you use an identical drive. So today is the plan to remove the drive before I lose all the games I've already have. So if I do get the drive cloned then I can always mess about with the cloned version and if something goes wrong then I've the original to fall back on. Is this Aomei Backupper Standard 4.0.2 better than Easeus Togo backup?

I think I'd better make a few cloned drives so I don't have to reimage the drive like I had to In the first week of having the Enhanced Rio like Chasnbons has just reminded me then I also see from the comments about there being a spare usb for upgrades but when I tried the one on the belly it didn't work so does that mean I'd need to remove that and get a new lead or use the spare one on top. There I go again with my  impulsive nature and jumping ahead and wanting things I can't have.

Okay I'll get to work on the clone so if anyone knows of a really good site I can use and they've had success copying their hard drive then please let me know bye for now.
