one's i'v found and got working are-

 

Stardust £10/£15 classic tick hopper 1 in configuration

the streak £25 classic - needs both hoppers unticking in config to remove constant hopper noise as with a few or a lot of other scorp4 machines with this noise, other than that all fine this end

continuing from above post cause can,t edit for some reason

pcp spot on by me - all fine this end but will be enlarging layout for mfme6 at some point!!

stars n bars - fine

supertwo - fine

to re-align the reels if out you goto configuration and change the reel/ band offset a bit

Here is another Jpemu converted layout.

 

Pinball Wizard 1280DX by Pook, up until now, we had a 1024 DX for MFME, so was worth converting IMO, as we can all now play above 1024.

 

Vec's is yours good enough for you to make a 1280 or higher res v6 DX from at some point?

Vec's DX for MFME is good but is at 1024 (Vecs good enough to make a 1280 or higher res v6 DX from?), so worth converting IMO.

not sure if its been done but here's ross's Italian Job now paying out correctly, also put new alpha display in and reel gradiented the reels

does anyone have a hi res flyer of this and could do with a spruce up

Ok,

No reply to above but turns out that it didn't appear as hard as it looked.  I post the following here in case is useful to others - like me - without the technical knowledge of the oldskoolers.  Please take with a pinch of salt, I have tested and fixed by playing them to the best of my ability, no idea how to use the doors or test mode.  This can take some time when a machine only spits out a feature every £50 with no feature board then kills you on the first high/Low :-(

 

Rows in red have partial fixes or have stumped me completely.  Rest should be ok unless otherwise noted.  Happy to receive any corrections or additions to the below.

 

Still have another 88 machines with varying errors, but will leave those to the experts and hoover up as and when, know your limits as they say!

Grrr, can't edit the above post again to add attachment.  Also, forum doing very strange things for me; it shows the last update on this thread as mine on 24/02 when I click the thread, but when I start to type a reply it says there are 7 replies which, if I click, I can see.  If I go back into the thread later on, the last post appears to be mine again, very strange.

not necessarily a fix but Indiana Jones the 20p input was incorrect, for tokens the button number should be no.76 and meter3-1 in configuration

Few more, since the later emulators have been released.

 

Firstly, thanks to Zoro 29 over at The MPU Mecca for spotting the problem.

 

MPU 5 King Kerching, needs the datapak under the configuration screen set to no

 

Go into design mode, by pressing CNTL E, then click on configuration and change DataPak from loopback to no. Come out of edit mode by pressing CNTL E again and close the configuration screen down and press CNTL R to reset the machine.

 

Others that require a change under the configuration tab.

 

MPU5 Show Me The Mummy, requires hopper setting to None (I assume the correct emulation option) or Serial, to avoid the constant hopper motor and payout sounds. Again reset the machine, you will get an on/off alarm, once or twice after loading the layout again, but it will clear.

 

Scorpion 4 Club Pink Panther 1024 DX by Vecs, needed the hoppers uncheck, otherwise constant hopper motor and payout sounds.

UPDATE.. Thanks to Wizard for info.

Way back near the start of this thread, I did a list of machines, that can have both hoppers unchecked.

High 'N' Mighty, Hilowarth, Hissing Quid, Hit Shot

Never Mind The Jackpots, Pony Express, Reely Crazy

 

Rovers Return, Tubular Bells.

 

I guess there may be others by now.

Is it all Scorpion 4 need both hoppers unchecking or just ones listed as just going though my S4 folder and had a refill error on one of my layouts,only it worked with hopper 1 checked.Or does the correct its self in V6 if i uncheck both?

No, not all of them.

 

A telltale sign, is with a layout open, click on diag and check misc. You'll see constant coin 1 and coin 2 on and off messages. Also if you have effects enabled in v6 onwards, you'll hear them constantly going, like coins hitting the payout tray.

 

Simply, go into design mode and configuration, uncheck the hoppers, press cntl R to reset machine and the constant effects stop and the coin 1 and 2 messages do as well.

 

The reason why I did a second list months after, was because in MFME v5/5.1, Scorpion 4 had no effects, so unless I got a payout error, I didn't uncheck them, but now if you don't you'll get constant payout effects.

Ah,i understand i just havin't got as far as using v6 yet for older layouts,as going though each one and updating alpha's and some dont have shortcuts for coins in,volumes are low ETC ETC you know the rest.
