So we all ready have loads of layouts on other emus, I am told by someone that in order to do a layout of Castle's Revolution that MFME V4 would possibly be needed which Wizzard was working on, but because 9.4 got leaked, it was never finished.  So if we could start seeing some new layouts done on a new emulator namely v4 would this not stop the emulator's block and start exciting layout creators and coders alike.  This would surely kill of some of the staleness and put some freshness back into fruit-emu?  I would start helping with some of this but, I don't have a clue how to make layouts and have never had any help or been shown.....things seem quite stale, most replies to posts are......Oh your a moaning queen, or why don't you just shut up because it CANNOT BE EMULATED.  Well if mfmev4 was finished, it would....possibly, maybe, in an ideal world get emulated........just a thought!!!  :o like I said, I'm willing to help out!!!

V4 was completed, the video that annoys every one is or was on here in a thread. If you want to learn the history why it wasn't released pop over to the MPU mecca.

Yeah it was such a shame what happened but time moves on.

Pity things didn't run smoother but crap happens. Maybe one day the ice may melt or the walls come down.......

Here's hoping.

you never know Mame Will one day do the techs we're missing with MFMame as I call it, after all there is someone working on a conversion from Mfme to Mame if that goes well the coders over there may start coding for fruit emulation.

The more I do today, The less I do tomorrow.
Fme is alive and screaming into the 21st century!
Enjoy FME and Happy Gaming!!!!

Can of worms apology!!!

I know now why this can, but cannot be emulated, I should have done some reading before I posted.  Mad that Wizzard posted that video of Revolution working in a classic layout, but from my understanding of reading, did not let FME in on the action and pissed off.....ooops! I'm just a player anyway so what do I know?  Well I now know that things with emulation are a lot more complicated than I thought, I suppose as a player of FME it's very easy to just appreciate, play and take it for granted, rather than look at the perplexing tech that is behind it, particularly if you don't really understand it that well.  I also did not understand that there is only one good coder on FME and that is Guitar, I thought there was hundreds, teached me not to summise really, so lesson learned there for me.

Well back in the day we had a few coders that were interested in emulating fruit machines.  Guitar is the only active coder within fme now unfortunately.  He is working alone so things are fairly slow going.

Things are moving fast on the mame front, a guy over at dads is writing an mfme to mame layout converter, he has made excellent progress so far.
