So it finally happened, after ignoring hundreds of boards and trying to get higher wins on the win line, and trying to get past £40.00 on the gamble, which this machine clearly does not like doing,  ignoring and gambling everything that was not the Jackpot...

In the end all it took was two treble yellow bars on reel 2 and 3, and two nudges on reel one for the other treble yellow  bar = £25.00,  Gambled to £40.00 with ease, then a miracle happened.  I had a gamble that actually after nearly two and a half weeks or more of losing and never hitting the next prize of £100, it gambled to the hundred quid,  then to £150.00 and then straight to the £250.

Always lost previously if I tried to gamble past £40.00, a really tight machine with all trails lit less the jackpot symbol, the board was always landing on a ? and always collect prize.  I even let the machine timeout by itself for ages spinning the number wheel when the trails were full, to try and hit that +1 on any of the trails to light the jack pot but it never happened.  You cannot exchange for a board after a £40.00 gamble, but the board is evidently crap.

This only took nearly 2 weeks or so of on and off play to drop!!!!  But it's official.  Calamari Club TIGHT BASTARD MACHINE...does in fact pay a jackpot in mfme 3.2.  and here is the screen shot to prove it...   Only took best part of of £1500 virtual quid clicking to get...ahem!!! :realmad: :realmad:  A good victory for a Boxing Day!!!  Gotcha!!!

The only way I could jackpot mine was to turbo gamble the entire ladder. Never ever went to the middle on the board.

I gave up on that one after I filled her up, the cashpot will take an age to fill.

When Vectra released a version of this im more than sure he mentioned the feature "spin and nudge"-which gives the £200 jackpot.

It is found in the super feature mode obtaining  3 night club passes.

I have had this but it was the jackpot symbols and not the cashpot symbols that it paid.

That said looking back at the sad days I spent in working mens club land!-I more than recall club cashpot's rarely dropping, infact I recall them staying at the max sometimes for several years!!!!

The high frequency of low payouts adds to the percentage payout and dents the chances of a possible jackpot/cashpot win.

Love the slot on the emu and its snazzy tunes,.

I love Club roller-coaster the amp's big daddy. A layout I wish to receive emulate in mfme sometime.

Club machines are notorious for being stingy with jackpots, apart from the forcible ones like psycho cash beast etc.

Avoiding the 'Crest clubbers of the 80's and early 90's, the social clubs I frequented before football matches as a kid seemed to have machines which *would* drop their Cashpots on a fairly regular basis. In fact, it was quite rare to see the Cashpots maxed out such was the frequency of them paying out.

Jackpots were less common, however they did happen. Usually by just rolling in, however I did know of someone filling the chips on Club Vegas, and i've had a Temple of Treasure Turbo gamble to the top, as well as hi-lo'ing a monopoly clubber to the top as well. A Big Night Out payed out the CP 3 times in a fortnight (and was promptly punted) in a fairly quiet club as well.

I can only guess that the throughput of money into these clubs' machines was quite high.

Real glad a reply as been made to this post.

Ive been playing  Tommy c's Club Give us a Break the last week and have now put through it £1700 to date! And payout so far is 19% ! With no hint or sign of a jackpot or cashpot.

I played this in the wild around 15years ago and recall it giving a real good play-That said I am playing it to get a jackpot and or a cashpot, just wonder how many more £1000's it will take to get a jackpot.

I do not ever recall a cashpot going in a club-and I was dragged into working mens club as a child and sat and watched slot after slot played in clubs and never witnessed a jackpot win!-I did have a jackpot win on an Haven site on Club casino crazy £200.

Working men clubs publish there annual report and most revenue comes from the fruit machines and bingo related games. Well it did the last time I witnessed an annual report.

Anybody else tried to get the jackpot on Club Give us a break??

I remember playing club give us a break in the local labour club when i was about 18 used to get extra life double up etc, would get the end feature and it always give sommat shite like 26 quid. Club machines have a dip setting for jackpot/cashpot frequency. I think off is high and on is low.

Hi mate

No wonder the clubs made such huge profits on slots!!

Will fire up the game in Mfme2 open u in bck door mode and check out the dip switches and settings.

Ive put in over £1800 now and max offer on knockout feature was £100! And then you refuse that and other semi high offers and then you get dead feature after dead feature!!! Real weird how it is playing when it has had so much money an only paid out £330 in smaller wins.

I had the Big Break feature in reality some 15years ago and yes I recall it paying no more than £50 top-was gutted as had free ball(extra life) plus all the ball lite for the free ball again and the double up feature too!!

But then as the machine is playing on the emu it would have without a doubt, eventually landed on ? and then given me the option "leave the table" :err: -Ruddy nightmare it is. Fun to play but very frustrating.

Just a thought,I havn't as yet tried to gamble it out up the cash trail without taking a feature-I might give that a bash later. See what it cuts out at or if indeed it can be forced that way.

Cheers Tommy

P.s You couldn't loan me some dosh to keep playing could you!! lol :cute:  :cute:

Tried to find the dip setting for the jackpot/cashpot -with no joy!

I messed with the dip switches which altered the cashpot settings and price of play-And now it is playing worse than it was before(and that was bad enough)!!

If you get a chance to have a look at the slot mate,I would be more than greatful.

Many thanks

Jay
