Carrying on from the Noel n BBC topic if you ran the tv stations what programmes/presenters would you axe or even bring back to our screens if you could.
Mine would be programmes to be axed
Dond, as its over acted and a tired boring format now.
Panel based quiz shoes like question of sport, who's Line is it, pointless waste of air time no real contest and reward/prize at the end of them.
Bring back normal contestants on family fortunes fed up celebrity based programmes and eastenders let Phil Mitchell Own a strip club and have a late night edition of the programme, Danny Dyer swearing and all.
Presenters to axe,
Alan Carr, Jimmy Carr and Jonathan Ross all equally annoying but even worse if the programmes repeated six times during the week lol.
And finally bring back the blonde bimbo dolly birds on the quiz shows they may liven the programmes up

I do agree with some of that - I would like to see more gameshows stop having celebrities and instead go back to having the public (Family Fortunes being an example).
I don't watch much DOND but I don't see why it should be axed - rather I would like to see the format changed / shortened. It is simply too long, and with too much filler these days. I presume they need the advertising revenue from the extended format to (a) pay for Noel and (b) pay for prizes, but if they could cut it down to 30 minutes (well, 22>24 minutes with adverts taken into account) I'd probably watch again.
Same with shows like The Chase - I enjoy it but it's rather dragged out. Could easily fit into a 30 minute slot.
Quite surprised to see you'd like panel shows to be axed as actually they make up most of my TV viewing - Have I Got News For You, 8 Out Of 10 Cats, that kind of stuff. In fact if I had my way they'd be a new edition of each topical panel show every night

I would not miss any presenters from T4 / get rid of anyone to do with x-factor like shows (including ant and dick)
I watch a lot of challenge those old progs are the best, every second is filled with entertainment and no one begging for you to phone in and best of all no emotional porn.
Bring back Barrymore I say no seriously I love that strike it rich.
EDIT
Same with shows like The Chase - I enjoy it but it's rather dragged out. Could easily fit into a 30 minute slot.
This is so true with 99% of all the shows on today unless they really are good in which case for some strange reason they only get 30 mins lol the irony

I would axe Noel (of course), Ant and Dec, John Snow and his cold dead killer's eyes, Nick Grimshaw, that effing annoying Chav type from BBC3, the news reader on Look North, Russell Brand, the scruffy, spitty one on "Coast", the list is long and will be updated...

Everything axed.
Ideally Vecs, I would like only one channel on TV that constantly played all 17 episodes of the 1967/8 series of 'The Prisoner' (Patrick Mc Goohan), back to back 24/7, having seeing them the first time around. There has been nothing else worth watching since then!!!

Jimmy Carr
I disagree, he's one of the most talented comedians around.
His play with the English language is second to none.

That newish show with that very annoying cow Anne Widdecombe in it called clever dicks. Never mind dicks she should stick a sock in it. She just looks and sounds the total opposite or what a host should look and sound like. I do like pointless and have been to see it a few times and even managed to get on camera at every recording. I hate millionaire and dond both very boring now. I like the other show where they drop disks and each one that falls off the bottom is worth £50 or something like that. It's a bit like a 2p pusher but with disks the size of tea plates.

Tipping Point.
I feel DOND has gotten somewhat more interesting since they introduced box 23, with now the possibility of winning £500,000.

Ditto, Jimmy Carr is an amazingly talented man. Keep him!

One particularily annoying blonde bimbo I'd like to axe is Fearne Cotton. Can't stand the talentless b!tch.

They should bring back 'Climing for Dollars'. Saturday nights haven't been the same since they axed that after Ben Richards slaughtered Sub-Zero, Dynamo and Buzzsaw on the show after it.
